Hi i have a technika 42 lcd and it has a 17pw16-2 psu, the set when pluged in has the blue led at the bottom and a blank black screen with no sound, when i change the channel the blue led goes out for 5seconds and the screen flashes for a nano second them the blue led comes back on. any ideas? thanks robin

Thank god we purchases the ADVANCED extended warrenty. This tv has been nothing but problems.

Fuzzy picture, picture shutting off after 20 sec coming back on and now blog of colors shut off never to come on again. 7 blinking red lights on the front. Waiting for the repair man again.......

The problem is a faulty inverter kit (2 boards).
I live in the Netherlands and had it twice, tv is 2 and a half years old! In the Netherlands Philips replaces the inverterkit without any
costs for the consumer (even after warranty time) cause they have
admitted that it is a production fault.Philips made a new inverterkit
which should solve the problem indefenit.Be sure the kit is Version
1.3! I had 1.2 after the first problem, and that went wrong after 7 months again. Today got revision1.3 installed which is Philips final solution.
