Umm, it's marked right on the back.
If you provide audio to it via high level speaker output from your STEREO amp you can daisy-chain your other STEREO speaker pair (in accordance with whatever your amp requires) from the red/black connectors below the inputs. That means your source amp is only using the sub asa connection point on its way to those stereo speakers. The sub's amplifier is not involved in driving anything external.

If you provide audio to it via the Low Level input the High Level connections do not apply and should not have anything attached on eother the ins or the outs.
