make sure the water is hooked up in the back properly and turned on. the solenoid tells it when to brew, but the spigot feeds right from the waterline.
The brewer is on a gravity feed system, after the initial fill, whatever you put in is what comes out. as for the start button check the water connection on the back, there might be a problem with the solenoid.
It is possible there is a problem with the tank heater. Please get the model and date code located on the bottom of the machine. Then contact customer service with this information. The brewer contains a 3 year warranty and if your brewer is 3 years or less will be replaced at no cost. If it is over 3 years, then it will be replaced at a reduced cost.
My Tim Hortons coffee pot leake water out the sides when I add water to make more coffee. What should I do ? I like the coffee maker it makes great coffee,
If this problem started after moving the machine, pull the machine out a little & look behind it for a kink in the tubing coming to the brewer. These brewers time the water coming through them, so if a kink is restricting the water flow, running the same amount of time equals much less coffee in the airpot.
This problem can be caused by either the solonoid or the flow control board. The easiest way to find out which one is causing it is to leave your brewer unplugged, unplug one wire off of the solonoid and plug your brewer back in. if it still does it, replace the solonoid valve. If it doesn't, replace yor control board. The solonoid should be under the front cover of your brewer, and is silver with 2 wires coming to it. The control board is located at the back of your brewer. Take careful note of where the wires are on that board, though, so you can put them back in the same place. I find the best way is to leave the wires on the old board, and replace them one by one to the new board, or if that is not possible, making a picture showing their placement is helpful.
