Sounds like the switch is stuck in the operate position. Therefor once the machine hits temperature it just brews. Your local Bunn distributor should be able to recommend an engineer to replace the switch or supply the correct t,hope of switch if your confident enought Tom replace it yourself.

green cord might be the Ground wire .....did u check if the leak start form the pipe fittings ?

The brewer is on a gravity feed system, after the initial fill, whatever you put in is what comes out. as for the start button check the water connection on the back, there might be a problem with the solenoid.

The thermal fuse is a little silver looking thing. It is normally mounted near the heating element. They are normally rated just above boiling, 105 C. The only time I have ever seen them open is when the thermostat is beginning to fail and stick on causing the temperature to exceed the boiling point.

Post a link to the online manual and I will see if I can find the thermal fuse.

PS: I do not recommend by passing the thermal fuse. I did this on a coffee maker I had and the next time the thermostat stuck, the thing caught fire :O

This is a pour over brewer if it does not have a brew switch, you have to pour water into the top to brew the coffee.

Syphon it out from the brew inlet hole in the tank basin, or remove the top panel and the tank basin, then remove the grommet on the pressure stat and turn it over in the sink.

To get stronger coffee, I would advice adding more coffee to the brew basket or using a slightly finer grind.

Somewhere inside you should find a small rotary thermostat. Also make sure the heating element is completely clean by using a quality descaler like CLR. A lot of people use white vinegar but it is not that effective on coffee makers. Make sure the heating element under the carafe is working, because that is heating up as the coffee is brewing. ..

unplug machine and turn upside down and pour out coffee and water mix (if water was in reservoir) If necessary turn over and fill will water and repeat.

Replace and run a pot of clean water thru it.

Normally that would be an easy fix if the water just continued to flow. You just replace the water inlet valve and they can stick open or partially open. But you say if you power off, the flow stops. That sounds like the control board is supplying residual power to it. Control boards are expensive so I would call for service.
