I don't know what operating system you are using but open a run command and Type ncpa.cpl and then press Enter to open the Network Connections window.
Right-click your connection to the Internet, and then click Properties.
Note If more than one connection is displayed in the Network Connections window, the connection that you use to connect to the Internet should say Connected or something similar.
Step 2: Verify that the connection uses TCP/IP
On the General tab, make sure that the Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) check box is selected. If it is not, click to select the Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) check box.
Click OK.
Click Yes if you are prompted to restart your computer.
Use Outlook to send yourself an e-mail.
If you successfully receive the e-mail, you have completed troubleshooting the problem.

SOURCE: Outlook 2007 would like to get rid of default account
Try this:
Create a "fake" email account that has an invalid username/password to a (real) SMTP server (Outlook requires that the SMTP server is real). And then set that as yourdefault account.
Now, whenever you accidentally forget to select the correct account, the default is selected and the message will try to send through the invalid account and pop up an error message. You can then go into the Outbox, select the right account, and re-send.

Open OL 07 -> Tools -> account settings -> Under the "E-mail" tab -> Check how many account you have. You should see 2 e-mail accounts and if both are the same, delete one account which is not set as DEFAULT.
Reason: When you opened OL 07, it checks if there is any e-mail account setup in Outlook Express ( Win XP) or Win Mail ( Win Vista ) and migrate the account settings.
No E-mails in blackberry :
Open OL 07 -> Tools -> account settings -> Under the "E-mail" tab -> Select the e-mailaccount and click on CHANGE -> Go to More Settings -> Advanced -> Enable " Leave a Copy Of messages on the server"
Reason : Outlook must be downloading all the e-mails from your server when it look s for new mails on the server due to which Blackberry does not detect any -mails on the server.
