Pictures not uploading to computer

Consider NOT connecting your camera to your computer.
The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program, such as Picasa.

Install the drivers for your camera on to your computer. The software should be provided on CD. If you don't have the CD, you can download necessary drivers/software from the Olympus site. You can then connect your camera to your computer by the provided cable. If a dialog screen doesn't pop up go to My Computer and find your camera.
Another way to upload your pictures, would be to insert the memory card into your computer. Again a dialog box should open prompting you to upload images to computer. If that box doesn't appear find your card in My computer and right click on the images and drag them to your desktop/file folder.

Stop worrying and get yourself a card reader. It simplifies your life.

hello.. your problem is not your computer,, your problem is about uploading picture from your camera
make sure your picture want you to upload is jpg files type..the uploading picture is must jpg type of files,, you able to change the file type of your picture ,,, how to change? open your picture and save again with select file type choices
or the to upload using other internet connection or upload using other computer to chick if your computer is not your problem,,, thank you hope i can help you have a good day!!

Format the memory both internal and SD.

Goto any radio shack and get a external memory card reader this will allow you to get your pictures if the camera or cable is defective.

You can to go my computer and click on your camera and drag and drop them to where you want them.

go to my computer it will say your cams name cick on it

Hi , in uploading picture let camera on ,plug usb , detection come in screen message , et camera button ignore it / click set camera ,select upload to camera, selection of pictures then okey.

Try to reinstall the software's CD you received with your camera. Good luck!
