The volume of my speaker is so low, i cant barely hear it, i cant see anything wrong with it, i checked the AC in, i checked the jack for any short circuit still iget a very low volume out of the speaker...

look on the lower right corner of your screen. there should be a volume icon down there. it looks like a speaker. click that and see if it is set up or down low. if it is low turn it up then it should work. this controls the amount of sound coming out of the sound card on your computer.

Sound output is low nowadays even at full volume whereas before it was ok. I didn't change anything with my computer nor did I change my speakers.

Two possible causes.1) Vol Settings changed in windows2) Bad hardware
1) Check your system's sound settings:

For Xp
  • Goto Control Panel
  • Double Click Sound and Audio devices / Sound, Speech, and Audio Devices
  • In device Volume Click Advance
  • Master Volume Control Window will open
  • Increase all the volumes to max, also make sure that Mute us UNCHECKED.

OR
  • From the bottom right corner of your screen in system tray, double click a small speaker icon and open Master Volume Control.

For Vista and Windows 7
  • From system tray (its at bottom right corner of your screen) double click on small speaker icon, it will open Volume mixer
  • Increase the volume to max.

2) If this does not work, then test your speakers by connecting it to some other system and vice versa.
If you get desired sound volume when you connect some other speakers to your system, then you have to change your speakers. And if your speakers are working fine on other system then you may have to purchase a new sound card.

Low volume on creature speakers

Your speaker volume must have reset. You have to touch the dots on the right speaker to turn up the volume to desired volume. I just remembered that on my system. Hope this helps.

Computer speakers

I have experience with that model of speakers. When they give up the ghost, the volume is VERY low.Since they work well on another system, try this- check the volume properties to make sure nothing is set too low. Start>Control Panel>Sounds and Audio Devices. Check the slider bars here, check in the Advanced area as well to make sure nothing is low and check the Speaker Volume as well. If all the bars are set to their maximum, there is something else we're missing. Let me know what you come up with.

Sound problem

Its either your speaker is faulty or the volume control on your system is low.
Ensure that your speaker is working efficiently by testing it on another system.
You can increase the volume control on your system by
clicking start,all programs, accesories,entertainment,volume control.
Hope this helps.
