Firmware upgrade I have an airplus xtreme G router that is notifying me to upgrade the firmware after connecting it to the net.

Go to the D-link website to see if an update is available. Login to your router to see your current firmware version an hardware version. If update is available, download to your computer and upload to your router.

Not sure if there are any more firmware upgrades for this model, but you can check on the D-Link website. Connect to your router using the browser interface and see what firmware is already installed. Then under the support section on the D-Link website look for firmware updates form your model. If there is, then Download to a known location on you computer (usually comes as a ZIP file). Unzip the file and using your browser connected to the router, upload the update.

go to the dlink website and download the firmware , the log into the router and upload the new firmware.

there should be but to be sure you will have to go to the manufacturers site and check.
Some routers are at the "end of life" and have been discontinued.

may be the adapter is faulty.. just check with some other adapter and try upgrading the firmware to the latest version if its turning on

Try going to D-Link website for firmware upgrade to this model, Also make sure u download the the firmware for the version of windows you are using. In order to upgrade, the router must be hard wired that is connected directly to your modem as unit will not upgrade using wireless connection.

try to reset the router for 10-15 seconds. Access the configuration page of the router and reconfigure your router for Internet connection.
