While our Dodge ram truck sits - the horn starts blowing. We think it has to do with the remote and the security. We have the Python CE0890 remote starter - it is a few years old.

Try taking out the battery out the remote and waiting about 30 seconds before locking or unlocking doors with it. Many devices are reset to default status via this method. Also try their website and customer service there.

You can either go to directed.com or if you still have the old broken transmitter you can input the FCC Id from the remote to remotesunlimited.com and they sell replacements with program instructions as well.
the lock button should arm the alarm, the unlock should dis arm the alarm. aux on this vehicle should not do anything and the red button should set off the alarm for panic button. You cang et a copy of the owners manual at Directed Electronics website
