I don't know this exact model, but other Panasonic models have similar functions. Usually the OTR option allows you to start recording easily and is not designed to have any other options associated with it. To set timed recordings, there is a sequence of steps required. The OTR is for recording when you are present. I will confirm this with Panasonic and update this.

The most common location for a fuse on an OTR unit is behind the control panel. If you remove the control panel, you should see it. Another common location for the fuse would be near where the power cord enters the cabinet.

With "metal" doors be careful..to avoid shocks. (1) could be an exposed wire inside the door assembly and shorting out, How old is the OTR? I turn my power off inside the freezer compartment RH top.

this is usually a bad turn table motor. if you remove the screws out of the bottom of the otr(over the range) it will hinge down and back and you will see the motor in the middle of the otr. your local parts house should have this item in stock or be able to order it for you

Brackets can remain the same throughout a particular brand for several years but will also change every year at times. Same year and same brand, I would say yes. Different year of manufacture or different brand name I would say, no it will not fit the existing brackets. If you have a particular brand in mind and have the model number of the existing OTR, it is usually possible to search out installation instructions for both at the manufacturer's website. You could then compare to see if they will match up. The two screws through the upper cabinet floor into thr top of the OTR can vary, within a particular brand even in the same year of manufacturer.

OTR stands for one touch record, each press of the button will increase the recording time. However if you keep pressing the button it should go back to "0" and stop!

Sounds like you OTR is on OTR on time record go into your menu of your TV and turn off the OTR feature you should be all set.
