Hello there i have a lanier copier model ld 160c color copier everthing work fine and functional acceipt i can not make full color copy, when i press the full color button then the display panel show up TO USE THE FOLLOWING FUNCTION [ S ] SET KEY COUNTER and the green start copy botten turn to red i can do not thing not even control the display panel so please any experter out there please give me some help thanks lot and have a nice day

Check the scanner glass. Copier machine ussually has 2 glasses. The small one uses for the feeder, check it if you can find any material sticking on it and clean it with cotton cloth with glass cleaner solution. Please add also some details specially the model of your unit.

Lanier doesn't seem to have specific drivers for windows 8.1, but you may be able to use the windows 7 drivers, here:

Deleting a Registered NameThis section describes how to delete a name.

1. Press [System Settings].
   
2. [Administrator Tools>.
   
3. Press [Address Book Management].
   
4. Press [Delete].
   
5. Select the name you want to delete.
   Press the name key, or enter the registered number using the number keys.
   
6. Press [OK].
   
7. Press [Exit].
   
8. Press the [User Tools/Counter] key.

Hi, whoever administrates that copier has set it up for key counter management, which means that unless you supply the correct key (which is typically a card that you swipe or a code you enter) you can't make color copies. If this is your copier, you can disable key counter management:
- Press the User Tools/Counter button. - Go to System Settings. - Go to Admin Tools. - Find the option for Key Counter Management and turn it off. - Exit out of User Tools.
Now you should be able to make copies normally.

re install fixing unit and do the sc reset. press clear mode 2x 107 press clear/stop until COPY SP appears press Copy Sp then exit, turn off machine then on after 5 to 10 seconds

Press "clear/stop" and "8" at the same time. An error code will be displayed in the copy quantity window as long as those two button are held down. What is the error code? Each code is specific to different areas of the copier. I will be more than happy to assist you in resolving.

Hello sir; I believed you talking about LD045, am I right? In this model it doesn't have waste toner bottle, the only place you can clean is imaging transfer unit, after you cleanup the message will be disappear.
