I bought an insignia converter box last week and have problems with it. It didn't work well at all with my old antenna, so I bought a new antenna, and it only works marginally better. Signal reception during the day is often bad, resulting in pixelated video and choppy audio. And I've yet to be able to get one of my local tv channels. The pixelating issue also happens some at night. Honeestly, this is really not much better than with my antenna alone, at least then I got all the channels

I have the same pixel problem, but it is only intermittent. The picture is good on all channels, without having to adjust my rabbit ears.
With my rooftop antena I get grreat analog pics on all major channeds here in Loveland Co.(60 mi n. Denver) With rabit ears I get pics on all but bad reception on CBS. With the INSIGNIA box I can only get CBS(very clear) and no others from rooftop antena.
I am 3.6 miles from the nearest transmitter and 6.8 from the farthest. On dead calm days no problems with most channels but when it gets windy or rains signal degrades.
Channel 12 (NBC 12 Richmond VA) is virtually unviewable because of pixellation and audio loss. Other channels have some problems but not as bad as 12.
I have "pixelating" at different times of day and on different channels after buying Insignia converter box. I've been told the problem is with the box. What do I do?
I'm in Miami, Fl.. I get two of the network channels. (4CBS and 6NBC).I
do not get either the local FOX or ABC. Could that be that they arenot
yet transmitting a digital signal at the lower range of 7 and 10?

When the box is hooked to our large roof top antenna and to our analog TV the welcome screen is blurred and rolls. We are unable to do anything with the remote control except turn the box on and off.
The converter box is not picking up all of the local channels. I've heard that these converter boxes were not tested before being put on the market......What is the solution to get all local channels?
I have the same problems with pixlating and audio during the day and at night on some channels. Is there a solution to this without buying anything extra like a stronger antenna then I had befor the converter box or replacing the tv with a digal one.
I got a question. Don't you need an an antenna thats approved for digital use?
