How do you load music onto a mini mp3 player. It looks like an ipod shuffle but is very simplified. When I plug it into my mac or my pc it doesn't seem to be reading it. I am unsure of how to get it to...

All you do is get another charger or have the apple store fix it for you. Once that is done, plug into your computer and device, and a file should open for it.
Click open to view with files.
Once that is done, you can drag all the songs from your computer to your device. Once is done, safely remove your device with the icon down the bottom right corner.
Then it should be done.

Tried to download 50 albums to i tunes library,mp3 files, from dvd by drag and drop. all showing on playlist and also showing all tracks from each album. however none will download to my i pod classic and...

You really should NOT try the "drag and drop" from a DVD - it'll end up making symbolic links ("aliases") to each of the files rather than copying them into the iTunes library. If you click on them in iTunes on your computer WHILE the DVD is mounted they'll probably play, since it can "find" the original files. But your iPod can't "play" them from your DVD, can it? So either COPY all the MP3 files onto your hard drive from the DVD and THEN drag them onto the iTunes "Music" library icon or, instead, in the File menu, select "Add to Library" and select them from there. Oh, and first delete all those dead links with the little grey "x" or question mark by the name in your iTunes music main window to make it easier to tell the new "good" ones you add afterwards (do this with DVD removed).

Determining the ipod problem

If the iPod needs to be updated, try installing the update onto the computer without the iPod attached. Once its finished install the iPod into the computer as normal. It should detect the download automatically.
If the iPod won't charge via USB link cord onto the computer, try buying the adaptor plug socket which you can use without the computer. At least then you'll get a chance to see if the iPod can hold a reasonable charge.
I had a similar problem at Xmas there with a new iPod classic. Eventually I had it replaced as it was found to have problems with the hard disk on the iPod itself. Good luck!

My 120 GB I pod classic Doesn't play the next song

Hi. Check that when you plug your iPod in that it isn't selected to "Shuffle," play which can happen if you are expecting to go through songs. There is also another reason and one I didnt know about until I took my iPod Classic back to my retailer thinking there was a problem;
If the songs on your iTunes or default device isn't an AAC file the iPod will fail to play it. On MAC systems simply click the file that you want to put onto your iPod, right click and scroll to "Get Info." If the file doesn't say it is an AAC file it won't play on your iPod. Scroll further down on the list to "Create AAC version." This takes milliseconds, doesn't affect the sound quality but condenses the data fit for the iPod Classic. Once that's done you can add any song you like.
Generally when you put a CD into a MAC it will automatically change the AIFF files into AAC which means you don't need to manually convert. AAC is usually needed when individual tracks are called up and put onto your iPod. I hope this helps you - it drove me nuts until I found out about the AAC.

Change a DVD format to mp4 or wav so they can be played on a ipod

Hey!
There is legal way to change the DVD format to other video format. That is to use DVD Ripper Software which can convert DVDs to some other video format for playback on some portable media players including iPod, Zune, iPhone, Walkman, BlackBerry, etc. And I am now using Wondershare DVD Ripper Platinum which is very easy to use. For converting a DVD to iPod MP4 video, it usually takes about 30 munitues. If you want to have a try, you can free download this DVD Riiper at: http://www.dvd-ripper-copy.com/dvd-ripper-platinum.html#181.
Hope that helps.

How do you delete movies from the ipod? I lost my instructions .

If you connect your iPod to your computer and run iTunes, it should bring up a connection to your iPod. From there, you will be able to access the various categories of files you've loaded on there. One category should be 'Videos' or something similar. Select that, and you should see a listing of what you've got loaded onto your iPod, and you can delete them there.
