It's hard to pinpoint the issue without more information. You may just need to replace the batteries. I encourage you to reach out to Eaton (Eaton purchased Powerware about 6 years ago). Here is the product page where you can download the manual: http://powerquality.eaton.com/Products-services/Backup-Power-UPS/9355.aspx?cx=3

I have a "low A/C output" message. Is this related to a faulty DVR or another board?

From the user manual: http://lit.powerware.com/ll_download.asp?file=Eaton%20FERRUPS%20User%20Guide.pdf page 108.

The output voltage is below the alarm setting as determined by setup parameters 59 and 60.

Verify the output voltage using a voltage meter. If correct, verify setup parameters 59 and 60. If alarm condition continues, bypass the UPS and turn the UPS switch off. Call your service representative.

Hello, we have a Powerware 9120 and our question is: If you set the BYPASS option, can the batteries load?? Thank you

Not sure what you mean by load the batteries. Replace them? Yes. Bypass mode is typically used when servicing the unit. You can email Eaton if you like: [email protected]
Here is the legacy documentation page for the 9120 UPS:

Powerware 9120 6000i model indicates a charger failure. It is the first time that we opened this unit and we do not know the location of the charger circuit (we do not have a schematic diag). Could you...

The charger in powerware 9 series 9120 6000i ,the fan is of a quality that it fails and the heat sink does not get sufficient cooling ,it runs on 12 volt ,i replaced it with a cpu fan from a mainboard on a pc and it works perfectly now. make sure that the fan is running else the charger might go in protection or can fail due to the transistor on heat sink fails.

Hello, my Powerware 3105 beeps 3 times every 30 seconds or so. I think the battery is not working anymore because when I unplug the power source everything connected turns off. Can you confirm bad battery...

Your problem is showing up under the Powerware 9305 (a very large UPS) but your comments are about the 3105. It sounds like your battery is dead. If your UPS is over 3-5 years old, that's most likely the case. The website address to view the user manual is www.eaton.com/3105 You can contact Eaton directly, too. Eaton bought Powerware about 6 years ago. Here's the contact info. Be sure to have your serial and model numbers ready from the rating label on your UPS.

The bypass mode indicator is blinking, what do I need to do?

my be its indicating that the bypass mode is not available because power input is not of range that the ups is designed to take, check the ratinng of ups and use amultimeter to check whether the input matches the input. also depending on the type of ups this could be a code for a fault. please avail the ups type.

Attaching a generator to Powerware 9120 UPS

Power ware has a powerpass bypass switch for $200.00.

There is two inputs on this bypass switch. One for power, and one for the generator.

One ouput for your UPS. There you have it... There is your soluiton. I might add one other thing called a Power Guard, PMM117, to monitor the power of the backup generator. The time delay of this device will prevent over current from cooking your UPS power supply.

They also have a Hardwired version that is more expensive for you 5, 6 ,10KVA UPS. So a automatic bypass switch is what you need.
