Hp laserjet 1010 red light always blinking, cannot print

check whether your cartridge is properly fitted, any paper jam or misfeed would cause that problem.
you might also want to check the open door sensor

My hp laserjet 1010 printer is not printing..just printed the other day and then the next day it didnt print. all the lights (2 yellow lights and 1 red light) are lighted.. hope you could help me.. more...

sometime, it is very silly but true, we forget to check the connectivity of the printer to computer. Plz check unplugin and plug in back the cable attched to printer and computer. Then restarting both computer and printer. If that does not solve, then uninstall and reinstall the printer software.

I have an HP 1010 laserjet and the red light keeps flashing so I am unable to print and do not know what the problem could be. I have had my printer about 4 or 5 years

Open all doors, remove toner, reinsert toner and shut door. Shut off the printer. Wait.....Turn printer back on.

If red light is still flashing, go to: http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/Document.jsp?objectID=c00028320#A0 to help identify what it might be. This is an HP site so it is safe.
