FH error I get an FH error code after about 12 minutes into the cycle, but only when using the warm or hot water setting. Everything works fine when only using cold water. Could this be a flowmeter or pressure switch problem?

I had the same problem with the washer stopping with a FH code after 12 minutes into a wash. My problem was the vacuum hose connecting the washer drum to the pressure switch had a small hole in it. It was easy to check and the hole was where it was rubbing against the drum when an unstable load would really get the drum spinning untrue. Once the top is off it took 2 minutes to locate and remove the hose. I used some generic thicker walled automobile vaccuum hose to repair it and so far no more FH codes.

You are correct..
FH is an indication the the machine is not sensing enough water flowing into the machine....
The only thing you can do without taking the machine apart is to disconnect the water hoses to the back of your machine and inspect the filter screens for any type of debris that might be restricting water flow into the machine. Typically, the cold water line is more susceptible to foreign matter than the hot waterline.
If screens appear OK then the problem may be with the water fill valve, water flow sensor, (flowmeter) water pressure switch or blockage in the water pressure switch hose.

However.. if everything is fine using just cold, verify hot water for proper pressure or possible kinks in the hose.

This error code will be displayed if the machine is trying to fill with water but the flow meter doesn't sense any flow for 30 seconds. In this case, check the water supply to be sure you have good pressure for both hot and cold water. Then, consider replacing the flow meter.

Whirlpool duet flashing f and h

First try turning off the machine for 30 minutes. Then check your inlet valve. Shut off valve, switch off machine & see if the water comes full flow. Check the fine filters on the machine inlet entry, they could be blocked, clean out.
The FH indicates a fill failure and this is usually caused by a bad water valve, flow meter or pressure switch.
One key to determining the cause of the FH error is how fast the error comes up in a cycle. If the error appears within 1 or 2 minutes then the most likely cause will be the water valve or flow meter.
If the error doesn't appear for several minutes then the pressure switch can be the source of the problem.
Both water valves must be turned on and working. Even if a cold wash is selected at some point during the fill the hot water valve will be energized and if there is no water then the FH error will show up. Sometimes a consumer will turn the hot water valve off to save energy but you can't turn one valve off on some washers.
Inlet valves can be purchased thru the net and fitted by you easily.

My Whirlpool Duet ht Washer starts washing fine, it drains then it starts flashing FH and wont take in water for the rinse cycle. It does this for every cycle, it will wash fine but after it drains and is...

The first thing I would check is shut off the cold water valve at the wall and remove the hose at the washer.carefully pry out the little screen in the inlet and clean well, reconnect hose and turn water back on FH is a water inlet issue I am hoping that what is happening is that when the washer starts its wash cycle it is probably filling with warm (hot) and cold water at the same time even though it might be mostly hot,but when it comes time to rinse (cold water ) there is not enough to make the computer happy and you get your FH error.. Hope this Helps,,If not your probley looking at a new fill valve assy

Kenmore Elite quietpak9 HE4T washer FH error code

take the lid off attached to the inlet valve to the dispenserr you will see a little white mechanisim in line with them. this is called your flowmeter take it off and blow through it is should sound like a cazoo. put it back on and try to do a wash cycle. if this doesn't help you need a new flowmeter. also if you take the kick panel off you will find the tech sheet to help you diagnose this problem.
