Konica minolta opc drum magicolor 2350 printing problems I have replaced the opc drum on magicolor 2350 and also the black (k) ink cartridge and now can only really print in yellow, sometimes the other colours show when printing a solid (100%) but is not showing any gradients of each of the colours nor black, I have tried sending test page one from the printer menu and it only displays yellow.... please help!!!

it sounds like a sensor that does not return to "home" position

make sure your cartridge is not stuck and pushed in all the way in printer. If it gets struck it will dump ink out and waste it.

Clean toner chip reader, remove OPC drum and all toners, under the toner rack there is a 3 pin chip reader, use pressure air to clean it.

Open the Front Cover and remove the OPC drum cartridge by pulling up from the green lever. I'm sure you'll find all these instructions on the box the new drum is comming.

does this happen though the document feeder or on the main glass if printing was fine then black cartridge and drum are ok its the scanner roller replaced or there something causing a problem

To Change OPC DRUM UNIT in KONICA MINOLTA 2300 w

Switch Printer Off

Open Front Door Cover

Remove Waste Toner Box

Lift Transfer Belts Blue Knob until it's placed at 11 o'clock. (it's directly behind the waste toner box)

The OPC DRUM UNIT is directly under the BLUE KNOB

SQUEEZE HANDLE and PULL OUT the OPC UNIT

Be VERY CAREFUL NOT TO SCRATCH THE GREEN COLOURED ROLLER on the OPC DRUM UNIT.

Replace new OPC DRUM and turn BLUE KNOB of TRANSFER BELT back to 7 o'clock position

Replace Waste Toner Box, Close Front Cover and Switch On.

Status Display will show OPC Drum at 100%

(You can also replace the fuse in the OPC DRUM UNIT and save yourself HUNDREDS on a new one)
I posted this on another solve problem previously, worth looking at.

Replace the fuse on the bottom of the drum cartridge.

remove PC drum and under that you can see laser glass, clean it and reinstall.

Try updating the drivers for the printer from the manufacturers web site. I doubt the issue is related to the printer itself, otherwise it would fail to print magenta all the time.
