I need the cheapest way to replace a key chain lock unlock switch for a 95 ford taurus

If your try to start it without a key or bypass security. You can't do it. If you lost your key, cheapest fix is a lock smith. Ask them if they can reset security. If you have the key. Have the codes read.

it is probley the lock actuator.in the driver's side door..

The dealer should be able to cut a new key with information from vin number they may want proof of ownership. Some cars have a code stamped into the drivers door lock barrel you may be able to take this code to a locksmith to get a new key cut, you need to be aware they may not be code key if it is a transponder type

not locks ur key is probably worn down if both doors are not opening with key than problem is with key have a key cut and try locks [thats if u dont have a spare key to use ] if new key wont work than wil need to replace locks look in bone yard cheapest online moderate price dealer higher[or use vin number for new key can be pricey ]

yu are going to have to remove the rear seat and try to get in that way

Sometimes they just stop working, idk why, sometimes the battery dies. Try this: lock the doors with the switch in the car - turn the from off to on without starting the car eight times ending in the on position - the locks should unlock then lock themselves - then press unlock on the remote - the lock should unlock - turn the key to off and remove then try the remote again. If nothing happened, replace the battery and try to program again. if that doesn't work, get a new remote.
