Simply lift the drain pipe outlet to the same height of the tub. this will stop the water siphening out when filling.

Unit is filling up half way or so and just keeps running, but will not fill up all the way almost like water is draining and running at same time

Tub keeps filling does not overflow.
Solution:
Drain hose must be 36 inchs above floor level to prevent siphoning.

Roper washer leaks when filling

It's in the drain hose somewhere, during the fill the water gets as deep in the drain hose as it does in the washer, during the wash the pump runs in reverse keeping the water level in the hose low, during the drain the hose is filled again.
Prop the washer up in front on a couple bricks or boards, start putting in water until it starts to leak and take a peak under the machine.

My washer won't fill up with water

SOUNDS LIKE YOUR INLET WATER VALVE HAS CHUCKED IN THE TOWEL.
WHEN YOU TURN THE MACHINE ON TO FILL UP THE VALVE OPENS TO LET THE WATER INTO THE MACHINE, IF THE VALVE DOES NOT OPEN THEN NO WATER WILL ENTER IT
THE VALVE WILL BE BEHIND THE PANEL WHERE THE HOSE ENTERS THE MACHINE
THEY ARE REASONABLY CHEAP AND SHOULD BE ABLE TO BE REPLACED BY A HANDYMAN OR WOMAN, JUST MAKE SURE YOU PUT THE WIRES BACK ON THE SAME TERMINALS AS THE OLD VALVE

Washing maching not filling with water

The problem is most likely the water fill sensor switch. If it is telling the machine that it is full, it will go right to agitate.

Roper washer will fill but does not spin/drain

Sounds like a lid switch. If it fills and just sits there, Im working on a tutorial for this. Dave www.washermd.com

Wont fill up with water it drains out before its full

If you hear the motor running when it is draining then you have a bad timer. If it just drains out and the motor is not running then you have a siphon problem which is caused if the drain hose is too low. Let me know what you find.
