I Unlock my Black Berry 9530 by verizon and its working with Etisalat Egypt Call ,SMS, but the black berry service is not working and any browser has not shown in menu and when change the sim with VODAFON the black berry service is working properly , kindly help us to solve it as etisalat egypt.

might be your phone is locked to your previous provider. you need to unlock your phone to use it with other phone. you can unlock your phone through codes. its the simple and the best way to unlock any phone. i got my phone unlocked using codes. you can get the codes from your service provider itself unless your phone is not more than 6 months to 1 year. else you need to purchase codes from third party vendors who provide codes at reliable rates. try this site to get the codes. i purchased the codes from here SuperUnlockCodes only since my phone is older model.

Welcome to Fixya. The PUK (Personal Unblocking Key) is a SIM-specific code assigned by the service provider. It is near-impossible to guess and enter it; thus, if a user does not know his or her PUK and is prompted for it, it should be obtained from the service provider. The code is not caused by the phone but the sim card. You can just remove and replace the simcard of the phone and the PUK code will be gone. In you case if you will be using a T-Mobile sim to your BB 9530 if the black berry is locked to Verizon there's no way you can use a t-mobile sim. You can request the unlock code of your phone from a third party unlocker. PUK and unlock code for you to use a different sim card is different from each other.

ur defalt phones codes is 12345 or 00000 u can use it
Default 4 Digit user code: 1234 or 0000
Default 6 Digit Security code: 123456 or 000000
Default 6 Digit Security code: 000999 or 1122
Type *#06# at the mobile screen to know IMEI no of your mobile.
send the IMEI no to me and i will reply you with unlocking code.

Well if you are tied to a particular network all you have to do is to unlock your phone to use it any other GSM network. You can get the unlock code through online. Etisalat Nigeria do not work with certain branded Balckberry devices. E.g the Tour 9630.The better option you've got is to switch your network or your telecom operator. MTN & glo work with branded devices. Let me know if you have a better solution because I also had the same problem
