The starter can be removed from under the vehicle. But before doing anything, first disconnect the negative terminal of the car battery.Do start the procedure with battery connected. The starter is located on the frame rail on the driver's side. Lift the car up on jack stands.Give proper support to the car before working under the car to locate and remove the starter. Now before removing the starter you will have to remove the upper intake manifold bracket .This manifold bracket is held by 4 screws, remove those screws first to loose the upper intake manifold bracket. Then remove the wiring connections from starter solenoid mounted on the top of the starter motor. There are two wiring connectors remove both. Both the wiring connectors are fitted by a nut.Remove both the nuts and loosen both the wiring connector. Now loosen the starter connecting bolts and remove the starter carefully from the engine compartment. In the reverse procedure reconnect the new/replacement starter and complete the procedure. ------- Keep updated for any more queries.Thanks.

The recommended interval for changing the timing belt is in the owner's manual. Generally, this is every 60,000 miles.

P.S. I found the data on the internet and, it is indeed 60,000 miles.

SOURCE: How to change the oil on a 2005 Kia Sedona

The oil filter is towards the front of the car, underneath on the passenger side, at the corner of the engine cradle. Loosen the drain plug and drain the oil. Make sure the old oil filter gasket came off with the oil filter. Reinstall the new oil filter. Reinstall the drain plug and fill with 5 quarts of 10w/30 motor oil.

Location of starter in kia sedona

Hello, the starter on your Kia Sedona van is behind and under the exhaust manifold,(the one closest to front of vehicle behind the radiator/fan shroud). It is accessed from under the vehicle, the starter is held in place by two 14mm bolts, there also may be a heat shroud covering the starter motor itself ,protecting the starter from excessive heat from the exhaust manifold. A Hyundai Entourage van is set up the same way as your Sedona is. Your van is probably equipped with either a 3.3 or 3.8 liter V6 motor.
