Could you tell me where I can find a manual or some sort of schematic that will help me know how to replace a crankshaft position sensor on a 2005 Kia Sedona. Or Step by step directions would be even better. I am very mechanically inclined but dont know enough about the engine in my wifes Sedona to know where to start and the shop says they would have to take off the front of the engine to the tune of $1200. Any help would be appreciated.
The CPS is located under the timming cover 4 small bolts remove the cover and the sensor is viewable 2 bolts have to be loosend and the wire leads up to a dual connector on the left side of the engine

What are the steps to change a Kia Sedona Starter
The starter can be removed from under the vehicle.
But before doing anything, first disconnect the negative terminal of the car battery.Do start the procedure with battery connected.
The starter is located on the frame rail on the driver's side. Lift the car up on jack stands.Give proper support to the car before working under the car to locate and remove the starter. Now before removing the starter you will have to remove the upper intake manifold bracket .This manifold bracket is held by 4 screws, remove those screws first to loose the upper intake manifold bracket. Then remove the wiring connections from starter solenoid mounted on the top of the starter motor. There are two wiring connectors remove both. Both the wiring connectors are fitted by a nut.Remove both the nuts and loosen both the wiring connector. Now loosen the starter connecting bolts and remove the starter carefully from the engine compartment. In the reverse procedure reconnect the new/replacement starter and complete the procedure.

Keep updated for any more queries.Thanks.

My 2005 Kia Sedona heater is blowing cold air even when temperature knob is turned to hot. Friend of family looked at it and said it was the "blend door actory wayer" -- but he was not sure how to spell it? Do you have a clue as to what he was trying to tell me?
yes, actuator--black box with motor and gears inside that rotates the blend door. I think yours is right on the front of the heater box, to the right of center under dash. Remove actuator and check door for proper operation. If it opens and closes smoothly by hand, replace the actuator. If the door is sticking, you will probably have to take the heater box out of the car, split it open, and repair whatever is keeping it from opening.

The car suddenly refused to start. A local mechanic called and started it within one minute. Apparantly the immobiliser needed to be reset. This, he said, was caused by low battery voltage. However, there seems to be lots of power in the battery. I had cranked the engine many times over a period of one hour. He says that if the battery voltage drops below 7v then the immobiliser will refuse to work. To reset the immobiliser he said to get a new battery, then turn ignition on/off quickly 4 times. The key fob refused to work some months ago and I've been unlocking the car manually with the key. I'd welcome any comments before changing the battery. Any comments please?
The mechanic that you talked to was exactly right

my kia sedona will start first time no trouble then other times wont and just makes a clicking noise
Couple of things to try.
1. Check that the battery connections are both clean and tight on the battery.
2. Check water level in the battery is above the plates that you can see in the filler holes.
Caution:
(Handle the battery with care as the water in the battery has been charged and becone sulphuric acid which will burn your skin. Do not get this in your eyes.)
3. Turn the headlights on then start the vehicle, and if:
a) the lights dim the battery is not connecting properly or faulty, or:
b) the lights stay on full it would the starter motor relay or solenoid (part of the starter motor).
