The ur30 and mt17 are commertial coolers and the evap fans run all the time. If there is a swithh next to light that is normally for the condensor fan. On it runs all the time-off runs only whem compresor runs

I Have a Marvel wine cooler Model # 6SDZE100. The unit works perfectly fine except It makes a rubbing noise that happens approximately once an hour. The noise only last for about 3 seconds

Nothing to worry about. Make sure the fan isn't hitting the shroud around it although it is likely to be like a computer fan?

The beverage and wine coolers use small fans inside the units to circulate the air, force cold air into the unit, and exhaust hot air out...

Looking for the wiring diagram for a UR30G fridge

Just because the compressor checked out okay doesn't mean that the overload and relay doesn't need to be replaced it also could mean that the compressor is mechanically defective I would try by installing a URCO810RC 4n1 relay kit. It is all you need no sense in wasting money on new parts if your refrigerator does not have the run capacitor do not install the one that comes with the kit

Fan runs constant

The fan is supposed to run constantly and they do get noisy. Take it out and go to grainger or a refrigeration supply house and they will match it up with a replacement. Its a very common part. Good luck and hope this helps.

I have a Bev Air MT-27 cooler for home use. Is it possible to have it rewired so it functions more like a refrigerator so the fan doesn't run 24/7? And if that isn't possible, could I use a timer so that...

On commercial coolers, the fans are designed to run 24/7 to prevent the coils from freezing up. If the unit only runs 4 times a day, it will not maintain proper temps. Domestic units utilize the freezer compartment air to keep the refrigerator section at temp. Totally different set ups. I wouldn't do what you are suggesting with a commercial unit.

Is it normal for the fan to run all of the time? Even when the compressor is off.

Good day,
If it is a beverage cooler, then yes, that is normal. It allows the temp to remain constant from top to bottom. Domestic refrigerators as a rule shut the fan off with the compressor, but on most any commercial cooler regardless of it's application keeps the fans running all the time.

Hi,

As the weather is getting warmer for many people their freezer and/or refrigerator do not work right because of a dirty condenser coil...there are also many other things that can go wrong. If you are hearing a clicking or buzzing then check out the last two tips.

If your refrigerator is running but warm, then…

Check out this tip that I wrote about that... it is a great place to start trouble shooting your unit...and something that you can do rather then calling a repair person to do a simple thing for you...

I have a beverage air kegerator that seems to work fine, but the evaporator fan runs constantly. Is it supposed to run constantly, or is it supposed to cycle on and off with the compressor, etc.?

Most evaporator fans run all the time. This is mainly to use the air flow to assist in melting off any frost build up during the compressor off cycle. If that fan shut off with the compressor the coil will have a tendency to freeze up. :)

Fan in cooling compartment

The fan inside the unit should run all the time, this insures a more constant temp throughout the compartment by keeping the air moving.
