I want to retrieve my msgs remotely. The * 1234 doesn't seem to work. thanks

by default your access code is 1234........unless you had change it....but you call your number, wait til to the outgoing message start and while playing press (*), then enter the your access code..you can practice with a cell phone now to get the hang of it before you go away

dial the phone (use a cell for test run/practice) ...once you hear the message press "*" (the asterisk key) and enter your 4 digit code (the default code is 1234 or sometimes 0000) you really should change this, this might have been done in the initial setup... read your manual for the exact commands to be use after/during retrieving msg....

The display on a Nortel set will say "message for you" if there's a message in your mailbox. To access your voicemail you can press your open voicemail key if its programmed or press feature 981.If you wish to retrieve your messages remotely, call your office, when the autoattendant answers the call press ** followed by your extension number, your password then # (ex. **2231234#).

Make sure all your passwords and accounts are correct in your "accounts" menu (it's on the page after the home screen a red "motoblur" logo. If that doesnt work try deleting some of your msgs etc from a computer. If you have too many msgs it always has to retrieve all of them on start up.

when you delete a message from a phone and it was not save may be through the PC or laptop, Am sorry you can't be able to retrieve such message back.

So next time you save messages using PC suite after deleting such message you can retrieve them back.

I feel soooo stupid...I guess somehow when I was retrieving my msgs remotely, the answer machine got turned off. I just pressed the on button & the "0" appeared again. But I never touch that button so don't know how the machine got turned off. Thanks anyway. But why is there no phone # to get a live person like there used to be???

Put paper in the paper tray and it will start printing msgs in memory
