My i335 boost mobile cell phone was charging, then when I went to turn it on, it turned off due to 'low battery' but still remained 'charging battery'. I left it alone and did not turn it on anymore so the battery would just charge. The charge should be complete after i kept it plugged in for an hour and now the screen is just blank. There was also no backlight when I was able to turn it on briefly when first plugging it in. What is the issue with my phone?

Seems like either your charger is not working properly or in most case, your battery is faulty.

you simply fried your battery by overcharging it. Just get a new one, let it fully charge and fully die twice before you start normal charging. Then you will want to only charge it for about 2 to 3 hours or find a charger that has a smart chip that tells it when to stop charging once the battery is full.

SOURCE: V3 dead but keypad flashing

I had exactly the same problem. After unsucessfully looking for a solution on the net I removed the simm chip and set it aside. The next day, I put it on PC usb charge and left it overnight. The next day, I powered it up and it worked. I turned it off and replaced the simm and it is now working fine. Go figure...

I dropped my zte boost mobile phone when it was just about dead . Went to charge it and no light no charhge and not turning on . What do i do???

Borrow a known good battery and see if that turns it on. If not Repair or replace the phone. If yes, verify it charges and if so replace the battery.

My mobile phone motorola W510 can not power up, if power button is pressed it blinks.

This may be due to the low power of battery.Remove the battery and give a boost charge to the it using a ordinary power supply (Approximately 5V with a 1000mA current is sufficient). And turn on the phone by connecting the charger.

Please my motorola i335 was a boost mobile cell phone. I will like to change it to another network.for example MTN. So that if I put an MTN sim card, it will connect. That is decode from Boost mobile.

Any phone that runs off the IDEN network will ONLY work on the iden network. It's physically impossible to use it on any other service.

Iden is such a weak signal that's only like 800mhz. There's no way ever to use it on anything other...

Technically the I335 was only designed for professional use which is why it has push to talk and 'rugged' design.

I have not used my boost mobile i335 in over a year. the battery is charging but it says insert sim. The sim is in there why does it still say for me to insert the sim?

Thanks for visiting FixYa!

The message you are receiving 'Insert SIM' is due to the SIM card not being registered. (ie., it was registered at one time but is not now.) As such, it cannot receive network information. And, your phone sees this SIM as nothing more than a piece of paper stuck in the SIM card slot.

A single SIM card is not used to activate - and then reactivate - an account. To get service on the phone, a new SIM card will need to be purchased.

If you're in doubt as to whether your phone will recognize a SIM, take your phone to one of your cellular provider's stores and let them test it.

Im trying to see how can i recharge my boost mobile i335 phone on my computer

Iden phone motorola driver package. They have usb charging drivers for it.

Their tricky though to instal so unless you have the time and patients. I'd stick to wall charging.

I can't get unsupported objects such as ringtones through bluetooth.

To the best of my knowledge, this happens because Boost Mobile does not want you to be able to get ringtones from anywhere but through them. If someone sends you an MP3 file in a message, that file most certainly would be supported by your phone, because the Motorola i335 supports MP3 files. However, Boost Mobile can be greedy at times. The reason they tell you that the object is unsupported is because if they would let you download the object and allow you to save it to your phone, you would be able to use it as a ringtone like you want to. If you are given the capability to use files from the internet, friends' phones, etc. as ringtones, Boost Mobile loses money, because you get the ringtone, and Boost receives no compensation for it, making it unnecessary for you to buy anything of that nature from Boost.
