Vibration malfuction I have bought already 2 playstation '2' consoles and neither of them had the vibration function in working order. I always check the game settings to make sure that it's on but it never vibrates, and both of the controllers work properly. One of them is a Sony brand the other is aftermarket but neither obe of them vibrate! Please help! Tks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Take it apart and check that the little motors are OK if faulty replace them if not the fu? part starts now
Check the wiring back from the motors and the printed circuit board for damage or a poped component
Or buy a replacement

chances are you controller is broken if not it your controller port

just keep ure ps2 safely and always shining . so always clean ur ps2 and make the best use of controllers carefully

Try a different game, either its the controller, the game, or worse would be your ps2 is busted.

Usually, all dualshock controllers malfunction after a year or so. Do not be surprised.

Its possible the connector on the PS2 has come loose on the inside of the unit. The other possibilty is that the connector on the end of the cable of your controller is dirty or loose. If its just the controller connector, try taking a cue tip and some rubbing alcohol and cleaning the connector on both the controller end and the ps2 end, just be sure that you don't turn on the PS2 until the connectors are completely dry. If you use rubbing alcohol it should take less than a couple mins for the alcohol to evaporate
