The lid seal has an opening all around the seal. Make sure the opening faces up inside the lid, there is a groove inside the lid where the lid seal sits in place. Once is placed correctly on the lid, lubricate the lid seal with soapy water and then place on top of the pump casing and just put pressure on the side tabs so it snaps in place. Note that sometimes is required to use a C-Clamp to put the lid back on.

F 5 error top draw only

Fault code F5 is a lid fault error. It could be one of many issues and generally will need a technician to fix it. The problem could as simple as the lid seal that seals the drawer being displaced or the actuator motors that bring the seal down being faulty. Turn the mains power off to the dishwasher and back on. This should bring the actuator motors to start position. If this does not fix it then check under the top housing for any signs of lid seal break. If it looks ok then you have to call technician to fix it. The fix involves taking the drawer out carefully without damaging the wiring and hoses underneath and checking the lid seal assembly underside of dishwasher housing.

My 97 honda civic has been in an accident before now my trunk doesn't close completely and water gets in my trunk how do I fix that

The fix depends on what was bent - the deck lid or the back of the car. To find out, clean the rubber seal with brake fluid on a rag, then dry the seal with another clean rag. Put a small amount of motor oil on your finger tip and put a small line of oil on the top of the seal, making sure you have enough oil on the seal to wet it all the length of the seal.
Now close the deck lid GENTLY. Open the lid and inspect the surface of the lid that contacted the seal, as well as the seal. The area of the lid that is dry is where the lid and seal are not contacting.
If you cannot determine where there is oil or not, you can try putting a small amount of fine ground dirt on top of the oil before closing the lid. If you can see bends in the deck lid surface, replacing the lid should fix the problem. If the deck lid is straight, then you'll need to have a body shop fix the car ( expensive). It is also possible the seal is flat, torn, or just worn out - in which case replacing the seal will cure your problem.
Hope this helps!!

Fisher Paykel drawer stuck closed how to fix.

Turn the mains power off and force pull the drawer slowly.. No jerky movements. The lid seal is stuck. Once open, check for any damage to lid seal by running fingers on the underside of the top of cabinet where the drawer slides in. Turn mains power back on. If the drawer does not slide back in then it is likely the lid seal actuator motor is stuck or power to motor has failed. Will need technician involvement to fix. If lid seal looks torn then it will need to be replace. Can cause leaks and further faults otherwise.

Fisher paykel dd24scx6 lid fault

This error is linked to the mechanisms that operate the lid seal of the drawer.

If the drawer feels hard when moving in and out, then the lid seal could be stuck in close position and the movement actuator motors may have lost power.
If there is no change in the situation after turning off the mains power and turning it back on, then there is a component failure linked to the lid seal.

Will need a technician to fix it if you are not very familiar with fixing electrical stuff. The lid seal actuator assembly is very complex. The easiest to fix is a failed power board under the drawer and the hardest is to replace the actuator motor if it has gone faulty.

I installed the retrofit link arm kit and can not close the drawer

The lid seal actuator arms are very complicated to fit back in. It is likely the actuator motors are not set at release position when you fit the arms in. You may need to go into diagnotic mode and select Lid seal on. off function to ensure the both the motors are in release state before you fit the arms back. I am assuming you have a single drawer unit. Not sure why you mention "replaced seals in tub". The lid seal is a single plate.

Installation of lid seal

Typically the lid seal has an opening all around the center and it must face up and fit inside the lid, once is fitted inside the lid cover, lubricate the bottom of the lid seal with soapy water and place it on top of the pump casing. Then apply pressure at the side tabs to snap the lid back in place, note that you may have to use a big C-Clamp to be able to put the lid back on.

Dishwasher won't open top drawer or turn on--

Wonder if you tried to turn the power off at the mains and back on. If that does not release the drawer then most likely the lid seal has locked up.

I am assuming the bottom drawer is operational.
Turn the power to dishwasher off and take the bottom drawer out from its housing carefully without tugging the hoses etc at the back. This will expose the power module at the base. This supplies the power to the lid seal actuator motors on both drawers. Disconnect the leads going to top drawer and turn power back on. This should free up the lid seal - might need a little pull to get drawer to open. Connect everything back in (disconnect power first) and see if it works.

If this is unlclear then drop a comment otherwise rate the solution to help fixya help you better in future.

Leaking dish drawer

It sounds like your door seal is giving you a problem. Before you replace the seal try running the dishwasher on the highest heat cycle to help the seal conform to the door.
