How to change the blade on a Performance FMTC1800ST table saw?

I am no expert on your saw but on my table saw what I do is block the blade from rotating with a scrap of wood by hooking a tooth on it. Next use a wrench to loosen the blade nut (which is reverse threaded) and simply swap blades.

How to replace blades on a hand held power devil planer (old version)

Try this.
Loosen the fastening bolts Loosen the three bolts that secure the blade.

2. Remove the blade
Now you can use a screwdriver to begin sliding the blade out of its slot. Grab the blade carefully and slide it out the rest of the way.

3. Repeat the process on the reverse side
Now turn the planer's drum around to the other side and repeat the process on the second blade.

4. Install the new blade
Now you can install the new blades. Notice the blades have a notch on them that aligns with the slot on the drum. Align the notch and slide the blade into place.

Loosely tighten the outer two nuts, but don't tighten them completely yet.

5. Align the blade
Make sure the blade is centered so it won't rub against either side of the planer. Once the blade is centered you can fasten the bolts down completely.

6. Repeat the process on the reverse side
Now rotate the drum and install the new blade on the other side.

Change blade miter saw

Un-plug the saw. Remove the screws holding the side saw guard in place. Look at the center of the saw blade for the nut holding it in place. Take a socket wrench that fits the nut and loosen it. You'll need to take a scrap piece of wood 2x4, and jamb the teeth of the blade into it while loosening the nut. The nut will come off first and then a washer/spacer.

Reverse the order for installing the new blade. Make sure you use the proper size diameter blade (10 inch) and mounting hole in the replacement blade. Also, use the provided washer/spacers that were on the original blade and secure the nut. Spin by hand to see if everything clears. Mount the protective guard back on. Plug in the saw and test cut .

Good luck. If you are still unsure - ask a handy neighbor to help. It takes about 5 minutes to complete this task.

How to change blade on 10" Craftsman table saw?

you need to grab the blade with something.maybe some pliers(if you are not going to refurbish blade) and loosen the nut in the center of the blade. i think it is a left hand thread(cw to loosen) because of the rotation of the blade. if the nut is on the left when looking from the front it is probably left handed. make sure it's unplugged and wear leather gloves so you don't get cut. install in reverse...

I need to change the blade, but am unable to loosen the nut holding the blade in place. the nut and square spacer underneath move together.

you need impact gun.air or electric operated impact, run it reverse. it shouldn't be loose like that. i am guessing the armature drop could be the ring is out of the armature groove. ring are located inside the motor assy.
