Place it in a sealed container covered in rice for a few days. The rice will absorb the moisture. Works on cell phone dropped on water too.

Sony camera LCD screen has moisture water damage

First off, try not to use the device while there is any form of moisture still present. Second, if there is in fact still moisture trapped inside of the camera, a very common place fix to resolve this is to bury the electronic device in a bowl of dry white rice (Minute Rice) for a day. Rice has the tendency to extract and absorb moisture from items.
Otherwise you can always send it in to Sony for repair.

How to remove moisture from canon ixus 130 camera screen

Over time it should dry. Chance of moisture in other parts of camera? Suggest removing batteries and not using at all until you are sure no moisture inside that could cause electrical damage. My
Powershot fell in a river while hiking and simply let it dry out over a few weeks. The screen has internal blemishes, but that doesn't affect the photographs.

When I turn the camcorder on, DEW shores on the screen, then it moves from the right to left of screen and camcorder shuts down

Moisture is an enemy of any tape based system. The moisture can cause the tape to "stick" to the rotating heads damaging both the tape and heads. This is why there is a "dew" sensor inside the tape compartment. The screen message indicates that the sensor has detected an excess mount of moisture and won't let the unit load a tape until the problem is cleared. Try leaving the unit open and pointing a hair dryer at it from a distance of about 12"-18". The warm dry air should remove any moisture that exists. Should this not resolve the problem, there is a defect in the sensor and it might need to be replaced.

Suspected moisture in Furuno GPS/Plotter display

You need to determine if it's moisture or damage to the protective coating on the LCD glass. If the screen coating is damaged it will have patches or discoloration that resemble water spots like you see on windows and glasses exposed to hard water. If it's moisture between the glass and LCD you should be able to make out the tiny water droplets that are evenly spread throughout the screen. The only proper fix for a glass with damage to the protective coating is replacement of the bezel assembly. If it's moisture you can try inserting a few silica gel packs inside the unit. Don't try to disassemble the bezel (LCD/Screen) assembly. Just but the gel packs inside the 1650 chassis and give it a day or two. Otherwise, you're looking at factory repaire.

Mobile phone faulty

The screen's internal parts have catched moisture and are damped and thus getting hot & dry air makes the moisture get off. To fix it permanently change the screen's curcuit board or contact support

The screen doesn't always work.

Sounds like possible moisture problem. you havent been taking a steamy shower with it in the restroom on the countertop or something have you?

the steam will cause moisture to build up inside and short the screen out. remove the Battery, Open the case and clean the board of any moisture inside, you can use an alcahol wipe. when its clean up, let it dry for a day to be certain its all dry. Put back together and see if it works.
