It sounds like a faulty battery try testing it with another battery and see if the problem persists if not then get a new battery,
let me know how it goes,

that's exactly what happened to mine. but since no one found a solution and i had a feeling it wasn't the battery. I simply just pulled on the lens and turned the camera off and on. and viola! it works. hopefully my solution works for your guys's camera. :D

Have you made sure that the batteries are LiIon and fully charged? I had a similar problem with a Kodak Easyshare camera that required the higher voltage LiIon battery pack rather than alkaline AAs which will fit in there but is not exactly right.

My camera keeps turning off with a full battery and makes a beeping noise

There is something obstructing the lens. Camera turns off if it can't extend and retract the lens. Turn it downward, try blowing compressed air around the lens itself, or if all else fails spraying around the base with a light dusting of CRT cleaner (90% isopropal alcohol spray)

    Lens motor stalled.
Checkout the price of a repair at Samsung suppor.

Had this happen with the lens stuck in the retracted position. Rapped the camera on my palm to jostle the lens a bit, turned it on and back to normal.

Camera beeps and turns off and lens won't retract

    Lens error / Battery expire.
    1. Use a new battery will fully charged and then use it. Hope you get good result.

    2. Some time lens zooming gear getting damaged by dust. if that gear is scrached by dust then your lens can't work and it will stucked. Your camera automatically turn off.

Of those 2 85% chance of poor/ long time used Battery & 15% chance of lens zooming gear damaged.

Thanks, i am waiting for your feed back & if you satisfied then thumps me please.

Three beeps when i try to turn it on

i had the same problem a while back. I fooled around with my camera lens a bit and it turned out that one side of the lens was sticking out a bit. I pressed down on this and pushed the power button and it worked. The next time I turned it on the same thing happened but if you keep doing the same thing it should work.

    Hope this helps!

Samsung L100 digital camera beep problem

If the lens is retracted, hold up the camera to your eye and look at the lens. If you see one end sticking out a little bit, push that side in and press the power button. It should work.
If the lens isn't retracted, push the lens around until it is in its regular position. When you press the power button, it will retract and come out again and should work fine.

    Hope this advice helps!
