My gauge cluster isnt working on my 2003 chevy Silverado the tan wire is very lose could that b the problem

I found these wire colors. Anything get your attention? I usually want to check voltage and ground. What if that wire color is gray, that is serial data and yes it will cause problems. I wish you could have drawn an arrow to the particular wire? Very good picture.

Your lamp door switch isnt activated. either the door isnt secure or the wire isnt plugged in. Flashing orangy red LED means just that.

T.v. problems

I suggest check the cables first. The color changes are almost always a faulty wire in the cable. Try working the cable back and forth near both connectors. If this causes the color change you could have a broken wore in the cable, or a loose pin in one of the connectors.
