Check signal cable

Hello,

The 930B and the 710T use the same power supply/inverter boards. Below is a link to a repair guide for the 710T unit that should get you going in the right direction.

(When connecting D-Sub cable) Check the signal cable connection. (When connecting DVI cable) If you still see an error message on the screen when the monitor is connected properly, check to see if the monitor status is set to analog. Press Source button to have the monitor double-check the input signal source.

Source button Activates a highlighted menu item.
/ Push the 'SOURCE', then selects the video signal while the OSD is off. (When the source button is pressed to change the input mode, a message appears in the center of the screen displaying the current mode -- analog or digital input signal.) Note : If you select the digital mode, you must connect your monitor to the graphic card's port using the DVI cable.

source button fourth from the left when facing monitor. looks like a box with an arrow pointing left.

have you tried the monitor on another PC? if yes? did it work? if yes, your new computer is set on a very high resolution that the syncmaster could not adjust...

Hello
1st Pull all power from pc from the wall.Plug back in and start pc up.
While starting hold down the f8 key and select safe mode.

once in go to control panel and select display.

set resoulution to default 60 hz and screen size to 800 by 600.

Reboot.

You may need to readjust your screen again.

i would check the video card, see if it's still good. also check for your drivers and update if necissary.

Did you check for new drivers to both vid card and display? That'd be the first thing to try.

Try to reinstall your OS.
