It sounds like there could be an issue with the codecs of the file. Does it happen to all files you are watching. Also what type of files is this happening on? AVI, MP4....etc. Also make sure that the File system of the thumb drive is in FAT. Check to see if you have the latest update from the PSN.

It is an .avi file similar to dozens I have played without issue in the past. What really bothered me was the fact that the file played fine for at least 3/4's of the show and then suddenly it became an unsupported file?
