The digital time and the analog do not match. How can I adjust the time so that the digital and analog will be the same.

You don't say what make of watch you have but working on the assumption that most watches are very similar, try the method used by Casio.

Press the mode button (at 8 O'clock?) to step through the setting program until the display says "HS".

Now press the 2 or 4 O'clock buttons to advance or ****** the hands until the correct time is shown.

Press the mode button until you return to the normal time keeping mode.

How to set the hands to match the correct digital display on my Casio wave ceptor 2734 wva-104h watch

Setting Digital Time
  1. The digital timepiece on a watch is set using the function buttons on the outer part of the watch face. To set the digital time, press and hold the upper left button until the seconds starts blinking. Press the lower right button to reset the seconds to "00."

Push the lower left button to move to the Daylight Savings Time portion of the watch. Use the lower right button to toggle between "On" and "OFF."

Press the lower left button twice. The hours unit will start blinking. To advance the hour, press the lower right button repeatedly until the correct hour is displayed. If you need to move the hours unit backwards, press the middle right button until the correct hour is displayed. When the hour is set, press the lower left button to switch to minutes, and use the same commands to change the minutes unit.

After the time is set, press the upper left button to exit the digital time setting function.
  2. Setting Analog Time
  3. You may find after setting the digital timepiece that the analog display does not match. When this occurs, you need to set the analog time. To set the analog time, press the lower left button 6 times. Next, press and hold the upper left button until the digital time starts to blink. This indicates that you are in analog time setting mode.

Analog time adjustment is completed using the lower right button. Every time you press the button, the analog time will advance 20 seconds. If you need to make a big change to the analog time, press and hold the lower right button to make the hands move faster. Once the analog time is set, press the upper left button to exit the analog time setting mode.

Tissot touch watch, the digital time is correct, the analog not.

You can get a set of instructions from their web site (tissot.com).

At the bottom of the page there is a menu; select "warranty" and a number of alternative PDF files appear on the left.

If you can't see what you want, select "user manual" from the menu at the top and enter the details of your watch.

Choose the one that is suitable for your watch and download

Setting Analog Hands

I can't find the instructions for this watch but Casio instructions may be similar, so you could try this:-

Press the "mode" button until you get an abbreviated message for hand setting mode (HS?)

When in this mode, I expect that two of the other buttons make the hands go forward or backward.

Some experimenting will be required. When you have finished, press the mode button until normal operation has been achieved.

Good luck!

Analog clock not in sync with digital clock

This problem may be due to your analog hands being improperly zeroed. To find out, try this: 1. Put the watch in chronograph mode by rotating the crowon in its normal position to "chr" 2. Pull out the crown two clicks. This should cause all of the hands to point to zero. If you do this and your minute hand points to 1 o'clock, or five minutes, you will know that this is the problem. If this is the problem, you can can correct it by zeroing the hands as follows: 1. Put the watch in chronograph mode by rotating the crowon in its normal position to "chr" 2. Pull out the crown two clicks. This should cause all of the hands to point to zero, or close to it. You should also notice the letters "HR" in the lefthand digital display. This allows you to move the hour hand by rotating the crown. If the hour hand is not pointing at 12 o'clock, rotate it so that it does. 3. Push the top button once. The letters "MIN" should appear in the lefthand digital display. This allows you to move the minute hand on the large dial, and the minute and hour hands on the small UTC dial. Rotate the crown so that the minute hand points directly to 12 o'clock. 4. Push the top button again. The letters "SEC" should appear in the lefthand digital display. Rotate the crown to point the second hand directly at 12 o'clock. 5. Push the crown back into its normal position. Set the digiatl time and date in your tie zone, and your analog hands should match the digital read-out. If the zeroing of the hands is not the problem, I don't know what is wrong with the watch.
