Good day,there is probably an error in the established bluetooth link between the phones,my solution goes thus;
Put off the two phones and turn back on after 5mins,reconnect the phones via bluetooth and transfer the files,if the problem persists,it means the problem is solely from either of the phones, try transferring with other phone to establish where the fault is from and let me have a fitback to this solution

Thank you!!

Hi i got given an e10i and havent got any ideas on how to use it i cant use bluetooth it says its paired but not connected also ive tried connecting my usb throw my e10i to the laptop and my laptop aint...

HI there,
Whenever you get a new electronic device it's absolutely essential to at least breeze through the instruction manual:
http://www.userguidemanual.com/sony-ericsson-xperia-x10-user-guide-manual/
or
http://www.sonyericsson.com/cws/support/phones/detailed/userguide/1.689743?cc=gb&lc=en

If your bluetooth is saying connected, but not paired, it means you need to pair the devices (generally with a four digit code typed on the host and then again on the client).
If you're laptop cannot see your device, it's because you have to make it "discoverable".

I am using xperia X10...and i want to connect to my HBH-GV435 bluetooth to this phone..but the HBH-GV435 blue tooth is already paired with some other phone.so i want to reset the bluetooth and connect it...

Headset-

1. Make sure the headset is fully charged, turned off and within 1 m (3 ft) of the phone.
2. Press and hold the On/Off button for at least five seconds, until you hear a long high-pitched beep and the light flashes red and green. The headset is now in pairing mode.
3. If your phone supports auto pairing, press "Yes" when the question Add device? appears in your phone. If it doesn't, continue with the next step.
4. Prepare your phone in accordance with the phone instructions for adding a Bluetooth device. Please note that for some phones you may need to enter a passcode. The headset passcode is 0000.

X10-

1. From the Home screen, tap the applications bar.
2. Tap Settings > Wireless controls > Bluetooth settings.
3. Mark the Bluetooth check box.
4. The phone starts to search for the device. Make sure that the device is in pairing mode. If needed, tap Scan for devices.
5. When the device becomes visible in the Bluetooth devices found list, tap to select it.
6. If needed, tap the text bar to enter the passcode (0000 by default) and tap OK.
7. You can now start using the paired Bluetooth device. The status of the pairing and connection is shown below the name of the Bluetooth device in the Bluetooth devices list.

Good Luck!

I switched on Bluetooth on my phone and tried to search for my device from another phone. It wasn't able to detect my phone. Why is that so?

because Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 Mini Bluetooth is not sufficient to send or receive files via bluetooth. you must download and install a program that allows you to do so.
go to
https://market.android.com/details?id=it.medieval.blueftp&feature=search_result and download it

please rate

I have sony ericson xperia x10 but when i tried to transfer files using bluetooth to my friend's black berry 9700 word appear "paired but not connected" may i know what will i do to fixed it....

Have you & him trusted both the devices first?
Sometimes this has to be done for the good smartphones that have secure wi-fi settings defaulty installed on the systems from manufacturers.

Go to your Connections settings.
Select: "Trusted Devices" if you have that one or similar wording.
Make sure your friends 9700 is selected as a Trusted Device so that you'd be able to pair information across.
