I have a Kitchen Aid Model KGRS807SSS00. Dead!

I have a Kitchen Aid Model KGRS807SSS00. My front panel is no longer functional and the oven and oven light dont work. This model does not have fuses. There seems to be two electronic parts in the front. Can it be one of those?

Pull out the warming door on the bottom. Inside you'll find a plastic sleeve with a pamphlet inside. This is a TECH SHEET that has codes to make the oven run diagnostics & gives you solutions to fix it. I hope this helps. GOOD LUCK!

Sounds like your range's computer control is bad. It will be a repair man's job to replace it unless he can find a reset problem. Sorry it is not a repair you can do yourself.

SOURCE: Kitchen Aid Double Convection Oven stopped during Self Cleaning

same thing happened to me yesterday took all day to figure it out was the themal fuse on the back of the oven the part number for my kitchen aid is 8300802 if you want the doors to unlock and reset the display you can take the leads off the fuse touch them together and the door will unlock however it is best to change the part took me 5 minutes once i knew what to look for
you have to remove the back panel and you will see the part with the number on it cost me 50 dollars but better than the 8o bucks to have a sevice guy come and do it next time i self clean i will pull the stove away from the wall to help keep it from ver heating

SOURCE: kitchen aid stove problem

Peter,

First...be sure you cut power to the stove before you do anything. This is 220 volts and it can kill you. 220 Volts is based on two different lines of power coming to the stove, each of which is 110 volts...but opposite each other in phase. This may mean that some power to the stove is on and some is not. Let's go on.

I suspect a few things: First, the coil control for the burner is probably finished. What I also suspect is that it opened one of the two breakers (they are usually tied together in the panel and are either 40/50/60 amp units) causing some lights but no action.

What to do: Reset the breakers as a pair by turning them off and on. If one snaps off, you have a problem at the stove. If not,...which I doubt...you're in business.

Let's look at replacing the control. Shut the breakers. Now, take the burned control and remove it. Note the wiring positions if they are not on a plug. If they are terminals, tape the ends. Now, reset those breakers. If the other burners work, replace the control. Take the old one to the parts store. If it doesn't work, look around the burned area for broken wires. Repair and tape them up. Try again. Oh, and don't let anyone touch the stove while you're working with those breakers.

SOURCE: Kitchen Aid KESC307 Electric Range oven shuts down unexpectedly

We've seen similar problems due to an intermittent failure in the control board. If you can have it removed we can likely repair it for you.

SOURCE: Kitchen aid double convection oven - glass needs cleaning!

Had to remove the screws on the BOTTOM of the outside door, then panel came off after all the screws (inside oven door included) were off...
Reversed the order to put back on.. Cleaned (all) three glass pieces nicely... Now after reading the problems with the self cleaning part (doors getting stuck!) - I'm afraid to try mine!

SOURCE: I have a KITCHENAID FREESTAND

We've had this same problem - they've replaced the electronic panel twice. They say it's a poor design as anything on the stove that splatters gets behind the front seal and kills it.

When I turn on the oven the bake burner does not ignite but one of the top burners tries to ignite. Neither the bake or broiler oven will ignite. KitchenAid Model:KGRS807SSS00

you don't have a regular igniter in this stove you have stick igniters it sounds like you have a bad spark module part WPW10331686 all the igniters are plugged into it,the spark module is up in the top console on the left side or on the back wall but it's easier if you pull out the stove to get behind it,make sure you unplug the stove before you work on it,go here to see picture of module
https://www.repairclinic.com/PartDetail/Control-Module/WPW10331686/1937904
also you can go here to sears site, put your model number in and see all parts,go to control panel to see spark module

Gas kitchenaid gas stove code F02. Turned off breaker seemed to cool down at first now getting warmer. Can't open oven door, like it is cleaning. What do Ido now?

Shut off the breakers and GAS make sure the oven has completely cooled... This may take a significant time
without the aid of the cooling fans...

While you are waiting the requisite HOURS....
Look up your model number on reputable parts sites..
I will list below.

The most likely failure point is a simple heat sensor... (thermal switch" which SHOULD HAVE released your door IF INDEED it
was cool enough (this is VERY critical).

Bake no longer works

Kitchen aid will not help, will not sell the part and will not give you a part number for ordering.
the part that goes bad is one of the 2 piggy back function switches. it gets hot from electricity and deforms the plastic causing the connection inside to fail.
I traced all the wiring and made a schematic to use for testing. Kitchen aid refused to even talk about it, so what I share is from my own experience.
By the way, I could not find this part (fz31-9) other than in china and it has a specialized cam inside and 5 connectors. there are 8 that match and not knowing witch cam, makes it very difficult to guess.
the attach diagram worked for me, but it man made and could contain errors.

We have a kitchen aid KGSA906PSS00 gas range. for the first time today the wife decided to run the self clean function. At some point through the self clean the oven shut off and the control panel died....

Sounds like my problem two days ago. I have a Kitchen Aid free standing gas oven/range model
KGRI801PWH00. I read online that the thermo-fuse might've blown. I found the thermo-fuse after removing the rear panel. It was at the top/center. Mine is T-O-D (brand) 60F24; Westinghouse #8300802. I ordered mine from appliancepartspros.com for only $34.75; arrived in 36 hrs with regular shipping!! Easy to fix, sure beats several hundred $$ to repairman.

Don't bother to call Kitchen Aid - they'll just blow you off just like the hundreds of complaints said that I found online.

I have a Kitchen Aid range model KGST307GBS0. The

The door light switch was broken (upper right face of oven). The door switch is automatically activated when the door is opened to turn on the oven light. When the door is closed the switch is depressed to turn off the light. It seems the switch position is detected by the oven and if it is in the open position it will not allow the oven to function properly (reach temperature or allow the cleaning cycle to run). I temporarily locked the broken switch in the closed position, which allows the oven to function. A new switch was ordered for replacement.

Frigidaire Range control panel DEAD

We tested the EOC and it will indeed need a replacement. Also, just a couple weeks prior we ran the "clean" mode on the oven as did another poster who experienced the "pop" and loss of the control board/oven function, but still had stove top function.
