Jensen LXA300 No sound, I believe that it got moist, all the lights come on but no sound. I have looked for a schematic to find out the output transistor /diode etc. Do you know where I can get the schematic for the Jensen 300 ? Thanks Jerry [email protected]

You might try the web site ManualsParadise.com but I would suspect that if you don't know how to find the output transistors/MOSFET's just by looking that you probably don't have enough experience to do the repair that it may require. If you have indeed lost the outputs due to the unit getting wet then the outputs are probably only the begining of the problem. I think you might want to seriously consider going to a repair shop with it. If you decide to go it alone, then you might try pulling the circuit board off of the heat sink and have a look underneath to see if you can see any "rust" bridges or other problems on the underside. I wish you all the luck in the world and hope you are successful no matter which way you decide to go with it. Luck.

I brought mine to the shop with the same thing yesterday. It was the fuse that was bad. If u have a glass tube fuse, maybe try replacing it. To check, remove the fuse and touch the two sides of the power wire together and if it is the fuse, the amp will kick on

Look at this image this is the best that i found online ....if this is not the exact amplifier all of the jesen 300w amps seem to be made the same so the wiring should all be the same.

if u still are not sure post a picture of the amplifier connections.

What does the protect light mean

it means you have a short in your wiring, a bad (shorted) speaker or a short inside of the amp itself.

No audio output Jensen LXA300

well the "turn on" is just that - a relay inside the amplifier that allows the 12V Main to connect with the power supply on the inside of the amp.
hook up the remote turn on wire to a switched ignition source, and your amplifier will turn on.
If you are looking to TEST the amplifier - you can temporarily Jumper the remote terminal and the + terminal to get the amplifier ON - however when you instal it - you will want to put it on a switched power source so it goes on and off with the car.

No sound comming from amp

If it only worked for about a month, then you probably did not get your speaker load right. Check that out before you repair the amp and put it back in. Good luck.

Jensen LXA300 Amp. need to known specifications of electron. part

If you remove the clamp, there will be a part number on it. Post the numbers on the transistor and we'll go from there.
