I have a kenmore electric stove/oven model 911.9354591. The oven does not work. When in oven mode the broiler comes on. When in broiler mode, the broiler comes on. I have replace the EOC and checked for voltage on the bake terminal and red wire going to one of the stove burner controls and get nothing. I have 240 from the input line wire to the EOC and the redwire. I have replace the bake element. I have replaced the oven sensor. I have verified the wires are going where they are suppose too to each element. Purple and red to broiler. Yellow and red to bake. whats left?

Thanks, but I did check the unit and it does have 240 coming to the unit. There is only one wire common to the broiler and bake mode and it is common to the stove top as well.

You probably know this, but on an oven unit there has to be two different phases of 120 to make it work. Check the wires that attach to the oven unit to make sure that you have 240 when in oven mode. If you have only 120, find out which wire is not hot and trace it to its source. Is it miswired at the other end? Is it shorted to one of the broiler wires? Usually there is a schematic to show how the oven is wired. Check for anything that is common to both oven and broiler wires and make sure the wires are on the right terminals. With out seeing the sove it is hard to know what it going on. Hope that helps. Robin

Oven temperature not working

An oven that is not heating up and that won't heat up is usually the result of an igniter being faulty for a gas ovens or heating elements for an electric ovens. If both your gas oven and your gas burners have stopped working then the problem is most defiantly with the gas line and will have to be fixed from someone that repairs ovens and stoves.

Kenmore gas oven model 91136519 from 1992 . The stove top burner work as well as the oven broiler. But the bake mode of the oven will not come on. What could be the problem?

Faulty temp. control...The variable temperature portion is faulty, but broiler function FULL ON GAS is ok...Replace the Temp control assembly.

My 790.94322302 Kenmore Oven & Broiler stopped working

The odds of both elements going out would be unusual.Tried to look up any other parts but the only other thing is the control module without having a wireing diagram. There should be one on the back of the stove if you can trace wires back from elements.I know that if the oven is in clean mode it over rides the oven controls. But with the electronic controlls don't think that it is possible.

Kenmore electrical oven

Trying to better define the problem....

Do you have any cuts, holes or "shorting" or tin-foil/aluminum around your bottom bake heat-element? If so, you may need to replace the baking Heat Element. (Ensure you do not use aluminum foil around your heat element to prevent your oven from getting dirty)

To replace your baking heat element, with power off; remove 2 screws securing the bake element. Slightly tug and pull towards you for about 3 inches or so and disconnect the connecting wires at each end. Then completely remove the heat element and install new in reverse manner. Whats' you're model number?

Fridgidaire FGF 374 CCSA oven and broiler do not come on

F1 means it is a defective eeprom. The software is incorrect. Replace EOC. Check inside the bottom drawer on the right side: there was an envelope with the troubleshooting and maintenance diagrams in it.

Kenmore Ultra Bake Oven Won't Heat Up

Turn the breakers off and wait 10 minutes and then on.  If this doesn't clear the problem, you'll need an electronic timer module.  Electrical spikes cause problems like this.
