I need to replace the power supply and I'm not sure how to get the case apart to get to the srews on the bottom of a hdx 9002. The top was no problem but I did not see screws on the bottom to seperate it from the frame. Any hints as to how to get to the screws on the bottom of the power supply?

Thread is bunching up in bottom.

It sounds like you have no tension on the bottom bobbin reel. Did you check your tension on the bobbin reel. The tension must be right on both sides. When pulling on the cotton when the reel is in its bobbin case you need to feel a little resistance. Adjust the tiny srew on the bobbin case to tighten the reel to avoid it to turn in the casing.

I have a LG204WT with a dying power supply, how do i fix it?

There are some capacitors in the power supply that may have gone bad. You will have to take the monitor case apart to get to the power supply. Start with a small flat blade screwdriver at the bottom of the case and pry gently to get the case open. Be careful of any wiring attached to the front bezel. Once you have it taken apart, inspect the caps on the power supply. Check if any are leaking/bulging, if so...that is probably the culprit.
You can purchase a repair kit from lcdalternatives.
The site also has a installation tutorial on replacing the capacitors.

I need to take apart my Brother XR-52 sewing maching to replace the spool pin. I have removed all the screws and cannot figure out how the case comes apart. Thank you.

XR-52 (and probably similar) has 9 screws on the back and bottom that needto be undone - be sure to keep track of which screw goes where becausethey're almost all different. One other screw is under the "nose" piece which holds the front shell to the back - it just needs to be loosened. After you haveremoved the 9 screws and loosened the one I mentioned you start at the bottom and pry apart carefully of course, noticing that the last part comes apart at the top where the three wheels go thru the back shell. In order to take off the front shell you need to remove two more screws, also fairly obvious. Reassembly is opposite order being sure when you get ready to put the back on that you align the three wheels at the top first, then work down to the bottom, replacing all the screws. That's really it - not rocked science. Just be sure not to over-tighten screws going into plastic. Have fun!

I need to replace the power supply plug in my hp ze2000 laptop, i have all of the screws out of the bottom of the computer but can not get the case to open. How do I do so?

First of all remove all your components ie. RAM, hard drive, battery, CD/DVD drive etc. Sometimes there are screws located in the area where these components are located that secures the top and bottom halves of the case.
I suggest that as you remove the screws from the bottom of the case you take a note where the came from as some of the screws are different lengths.
There may be s strip panel between the top of the keyboard and the LCD screen, remove this first, it will be clipped in place and held with screws from the bottom of the laptop.
Next the keyboard should removed and keyboard cable.
Look closely for screws hidden behind plastic stick on covers, you need to use a sharp thin blade to lift off these covers to reveal the screws behind the covers.
The top and bottom halves of the case is usually held in place with plactic clips, start at an opening and carefully pull apart until a clip releases and the work along that edge to release more clips. Continue along each edge until you separate the case.
The LCD screen is usually secured with screws on the back edge of the laptop and possible with screws near the edge of the motherboard. Take care to disconnect the video connector.
The motherboard needs to be removed from the bottom half of the case so you can access the power connector.
Take careful note where you remove each screw as you need to put them back in reverse order.

Best of luck, have fun.

I need to get into the case of a Samson V25 laptop.

The case comes apart at the seam that runs all the way around it. The bottom part has little projections in it that little tabs in the top part fit into. You can use a small screwdriver to pry the case apart (acutally something plastic will ensure you don't leave marks).
But--be careful. You actually have to press in a little on the top half (or possibly the bottom half--depending on the computer) as you are prying apart so you don't break the tabs. Take your time!
Also, you probably will have to remove the posts holding the video and printer plugs.

Ned to replace cpu fan.

I think that particular model has the fan mounted in the back of the case just below the power supply. It has a duct that goes from the fan to the processsor. Remove case cover and remove the duct by pressing the 2 tabs on the top of the duct and rolling it back and out. Unplug the fan cable from the mainboard . Make sure you remember the connector as you will have to plug the new fan cable back in. Remove the screws that hold the fan to the case and remove the old fan. Install the new fan, plug in the cable and if your computer is dusty on the inside blow it out with some canned air . Re-install duct by sliding tab at bottom in first then pull up to lock in top tabs. Replace case cover and she's done.

How to open PS2 slim console? Uncrewed all but still cannot open.

When you have all of the screws out of the case of the system, flip the system right side up and separate the top portion from the bottom, starting the separation from the rear of the system. The top and bottom clip together in the front of the system by the memory card ports, but if you start to separate the case from the rear, it should pop apart easily. You don't have to use alot of force to get the top to come apart from the bottom. Make sure though that before attempting to reassemble the case, check the power button to see if it is seated properly in the little holders on the bottom portion of the case. Then put the top back on, and gently press the top and bottom together to clip the two halves together. Throw the screws back in and you should be good to go!
