Speaker on phones cut out both when I talk and

Earphones automatically turn on and the internal speaker turns off when a headphone jack is inserted. There is no way to disable this. Sounds like something is either in the jack or it is damaged. Either way the phone needs repair.

To be check handset speakerphone part or electronic part for that speakerphone. There is difference handset speakerphone and speaker.

This is a problem with the model of the phone you are using.
It only has a half duplex speakerphone. Meaning it can only do hald the conversation at any given time, either teh listening or the talking.

What system are you using? you may be able to get a different model that would have a full duplex speakerphone, so it could do both.

your cell phone probably has an internal speaker for you to hold the phone up to your ear and talk and an external speaker that is used for the ringtone and for you to use the talk on speakerphone option. You can try to use the speakerphone to speakerphone and see if you can hear your callers.
If you phone's internal speaker is not working, the phone needs to be repaired or replaced.

The speakerphone feature lets you hear audio through the speaker and
talk without holding the phone.

1. To activate the speakerphone while in answering or calling modes,
   press the Navigation Key to the right.
2. The phone returns to normal (Speakerphone Off) after ending a call
   or when the phone is turned off and back on.

You have probably noticed that you can place or answer calls by pressing either the green "TALK" button or the "speaker" icon right above the green "TALK" button.

When you press the icon, the phone is in speaker mode. When you press the "TALK" button, the phone is in earpiece mode. Be careful about which button you press.

Cut the wire to the speaker in the base unit. Problem solved.

I have a Panasonic KX-TG6074b phone as well, and it does the same thing. In addition I can not understand the digital voice that announces who is calling. Therefore I came up with a very simple solution to buying a new phone, because the rest works great. I cut the wire to the speaker. The only other solution in buy a phone from a different manufacturer, because Panasonic's quality stinks.

mines is like that... wen you talk to some 1 you just have to put it on speakerphone

I think the earpiece has become disconnected either in the curly lead or in the handset.
