I have an ACER 5720z laptop. after i boot up, it just take less than 5 minutes and then it just abrubtly off without the normal shutdown. the laptop is hotter than the normal temperature of a running laptop. what should i do what is wrong?

The problem might be with your OS because many a time a the driver of your sound card is not matched with the OS as your OS is 64-bit any it might be possible that your sound driver is build for 32-bit.
So I request that you can contact your laptop vendor for assistance or can make a call to any professional laptop repairing center. Bye

Just press and hold power button for 45 seconds and release
do not charge the notebook while doing the bove(No power scocket)

i think your cd drive is malfunctioning..intall the driver..if this doesnt work..scan your pc for virus..if it still doesnt work you have no other option but to replace it...Hope this helps..ITTech7574
