This Power washer has a 3.75 hp Briggs and Stratton Engine. It does not have a choke but does have a primer bulb. You must depress the primer bulb at least 3 times to start the engine. The primer bulb is on the side of the carb. It can be black or red. If your still unable to locate the primer bulb please provide your ENGINE model number and I will provide you a link to a diagram for the location of the primer bulb.

Thanks for using FixYa.

How does front choke hook up on 2000 intruder 1400

The front choke on a motorcycle is typically used to help start the engine by enriching the fuel mixture when the engine is cold. The choke is usually controlled by a lever or button located near the throttle, and is typically only needed when starting the engine from a cold state.

To connect the front choke on a 2000 Suzuki Intruder 1400, you will need to locate the choke cable and follow it to the carburetor or throttle body. The choke cable will typically have a small lever or plunger at the carburetor end, which is connected to the choke mechanism inside the carburetor or throttle body.

To connect the choke cable, you will need to attach one end of the cable to the lever or button near the throttle, and the other end to the lever or plunger at the carburetor end. Make sure the cable is properly seated in the levers or plungers and can move freely.

It's important to note that every motorcycle is different, and the specific choke mechanism on a 2000 Suzuki Intruder 1400 may differ from the general information I have provided. If you are having difficulty connecting the choke on your motorcycle, it is always best to consult a service manual or a wiring diagram specific to your make and model.

Where is the choke on 2006 katana i broke the choke on the handle bars so im trying to start it without the cable is there any way

I don't know where your choke is physically located. I would say to you, follow the cable to find the choke and I say it will be on the carb or very near it in the air supply channel.

Function of the choke is to restrict the supply of air thereby making the fuel mix more rich (relatively more gasoline to air) for easier starting.

I think you will find the choke easily. Whether you can easily manipulate it directly instead of via the remote location - different question. My guess is it will be difficult to operate. Make your riding experience pleasurable, replace the broken parts. Find parts at your Suzuki motorcycle shop or at a FixYa.com advertiser. Look around this page for advertisements for Suzuki parts.

Thanks for your question. I hope I have been of some assistance to you today.

I cannot find the choke on my powerwasher. Where

chokes are usually found on the carburetor body, just behind the air cleaner housing. Some engines don't have chokes though, particularly pressure washers (since not typically used in cold weather). They will have a prime bulb instead.

Excel powerwasher with B/S motor. Will start and

Is your air filter dirty? If so replace it. If it is still doing the same thing try this:

Turn off the fuel valve, or drain the gas tank, then place a rag under the bowl to catch the gas that will run out (the bowl is under the carburetor). Loosen the "nut" that holds the bowl on, and after the gas has stopped draining remove the nut and bowl. Blow out with compressed air, if available. Put the bowl back on and try to start it. If it still will not run off choke, the carburetor probably needs a good soaking or to be replaced.

you may need to replace your spark plugs

as the idle should remain constant as long as the tune of the bike is good IE oil changes done regularly / plugs cleaned and or gapped , air filter cleaned or replaced all of these can affect your bike.
