Start up disc for the hp c4280 all-in-one

You can download the HP printer drivers from their support WEB site. Please click on this link and select your model printer to download :- http://welcome.hp.com/country/us/en/support.html

This model will not scan the negatives.

Try the best model for this purpose i.e. HP Photosmart C8180.

Please try these steps and let me know the result.... I would provide you the next step....

VISTA
1. Click the Start (Windows) icon.
2. Click All Programs.
3. Click Windows Photo Gallery.
4. Click File and then click Import From Scanner or Camera.
5. Click Import.
6. Click Scan.

XP:

Hi, click on the link below for your mac drivers and other supporting software that you will need for your printer. i would advise to save these important drivers your HDD and transfer them to a CD-R if possible.

i had the exact same problem and i installed and un-installed
over and over again

and then it hit me !!!

why bother ??? , just download a 3rd party scanning software like "VueScan" or any other you find on google and it does the job !!
it's light, recognize the scanner (C4280) automatically and scan !!
