I put my micro sd card into my computer and dragged songs onto it with itunes and after I was done I safely removed the card and put it back into my phone and then went to open up my music player but most of the songs that I dragged onto the card won't show up. I have the Samsung SCH-U520 and there's no way to get my phone to try and read the card.

yes you need to format it. You can go to settings or tools menu and find "memory card" in there should be an option to format card. That's what you need! Rate high!!!

I have the same phone and this is how I did it: With out a micro sd card room is limited. But with a micro sd card depending on how many gb's it is, you will have plenty of room. Just plug the usb cord the phone came with into the usb port on your computer the phone should pop up. If you are using a mac it will pop up in the finder window. If your on a pc, then it will appear either on the desktop or under my computer. Just like when you insert a usb drive. Click on the phone, and from itunes, drag and drop the songs you plan to put on the phone. Drag, drop, eject, and enjoy!!!!

To add music to your DSi, first you need a spare sd card, and a pc or laptop that can sync with the card. Remember that the DSi only plays AAC type songs, so convert the songs you want to copy-paste on the card. This can be done easily on Itunes on which I use by right-clicking on the song and it will show you there ' convernt to AAC'. After saving the songs , take out the card from the pc or laptop and you can now insert the card in your DSi and play music and enjoy.

You have to drag and drop only the MP3 files into the music folder. If you have them organized and in folder by artist, drag only the MP3s into the card's Music folder.

You should probably just copy the mp3 files directly from their source folder over to the micro sd. To do this, put the micro sd into some type of adapter that will allow the computer to read/write to it. There are usb sticks that do this and there are SD adapters you put the micro into so you can use a media reader/writer with it. Once you have the card seen by the computer, just drag and drop your MP3's into the drive letter corresponding to the memory card. After that is done, put it back into the player and turn it on. I should find all your songs and make them available to you.

First of all locate the location where the songs are exactly stored on your computer and simply copy and paste into the micro sd card.

Hi. Well the problem is that your songs probably aren't recognized as mp3 files. I have a SanDisk micro SD and I downloaded a CD onto on a program such as RealPlayer or Windows Media Player first. Secondly, I dragged the files from there onto my SD. Try this but if this doesn't work then take out your micro SD and format it to your phone. This will end up erasing all that you have on there and possibly require you to do it many times just as I had to do, t eventually mine did work perfectly. I hope this works.
