Alot of companies use to have a damper ring on pump shaft which would knock down some of the noise a pump motor made pumps make noise and the bigger the pump the louder the noise if its not vibrating or clunking then its running as it should

How to change the seals on a jacuzzi magnun force 1 hp pool pump

Hi,
If you haven't already figured out how to change the seals on your Jacuzzi Magnum Force pump, I can help by supplying a diagram.
Here is the parts explosion for that pump.
Start by removing the case/basket assembly, then the diffuser to get to the impeller. Loosen the impeller to get to the seal plate.
When going to the trouble of changing the shaft seals one should change all the hosing seals at the same time because its a lot of work.

I do have inground pool 16 *32 10 feet deep at one end and 4 feet at front, The pump did not start at all when i started it. Since the pump is an old pump above 15 years old I decided I would buy a new...

I'd suggest the 1.5 HP Hayward Super Pump, model SP2610X15. It's layout makes fitting it into the footprint of the Jacuzzi easier since it's ports roughly line up and are smaller in spread than the jacuzzi. Any pump will require some monor replumbing; the Haywards should be the least intrusive.

Another good choice would be the Pentair Whisperflow in a 1.5HP with or without the variable spped features.

The franklin electric motor is noisy (model 1104351449) for the Jacuzzi IMAG-U-S/A pool pump. Can I replaces just the motor? and where can I find a dealer?

Sounds like the bearings are going. You can definitely replace the motor. There should be a dealer near you. You should google or look in the book for a pool supply company. You will need a shaft seal or probably would be better to get a "go kit" for that pump, the supplier should be able to help you with that. If not, most pool companies have good techs that can come out and replace the motor for you.

My jacuzzi pool pump cracked so I need to replace it. Jacuzzi is no longer making parts, so what would be a good brand where I could still use the same pipes, filter, etc.?

here's a site where I found tons of jacuzzi parts and accessories.

under select catagory scroll about half way down to jacuzzi pumps and hit search.
If you find what you need can I borrow the jacuzzi .. lol

Jacuzzi Magnum 1000 - overheating & looking for manual

Loosen the motor and impeller from the pump by backing off the large plastic nut and take that whole section to an electric motor repair shop for inspection. If the motor is salvagable, they can quote the repair or replacement.

My pump is running however it's pressure is less than 10 psi and the heater on the pool will not run.

With the Jacuzzi Magnum pool pumps, low pressure is going to likely be cause by one of the issues below. Try these troubleshooting tips.

1.Pump not primed

2.Leakage of air into suction system

3.Impeller clogged

4.Valve in suction or discharge line partly closed or suction or discharge line partly plugged or too small. 5.Plugged basket in skimmer or hair in lint strainer.

6.Dirty filter.
