When I came home yesterday, and tried to turn my tv on, the power button flashes yellow, and the tv appears to be dead. I've had the tv for less than 2 yrs, but maybe being a Dell brand explains it. I read somewhere that people were having problems getting a picture, which could possibly be fixed by replacing the inverter, but the were still getting audio, and I'm getting nothing. I had a feeling that the tv was starting to go on the fritz, as there have been many times that while watching it, the audio goes out, and I have to turn the unit off and then on, and then it's fine.
What a piece of ****! Dell's claims of excellent customer support and service is the biggest joke ever! I would NEVER buy another Dell product! I have had problems with my Dell XPS laptop from day one. When calling tech support, overcoming the communication barrier makes the call 10x as long, as I can never understand what they are saying, and vice versa. Buyer Beware!
I have the same exact problem with my TV, right down to the audio going out, and me having to turn it off and then back on to fix it. For what this thing cost, it is a real piece of junk. I noticed Dell doesn't sell their own brand of TV's anymore. I wonder why?I have the same exact problem with my TV, right down to the audio going out, and me having to turn it off and then back on to fix it. Switch off the TV from remote, then switch off the on/off button on the TV, remove the plug pin from the power outlet. Cool off for 48 hours and then retry. If nothing works, better refer it to a qualified service technician.
