The security setting changed to access my wireless

Connect your router to computer with ethernet cable then you can access it with following default link. http://192.168.1.1 or http://192.168.0.1 or http://192.168.15.1 or http://192.168.2.1 If you are not able to access it with above ip then check your computers ip address gateway ip is your router ip try with it. Then it ask for user name and password. Type user as "admin" and password as "admin" or "password" or blank. Then you can see configuration page of router. If you are still not able to access router with above ip then you need to RESET it for that press RESET button for 10 seconds it is in back side of router then all settings defaults..Then you can access it with above method. . Then click on wireless->wireless security->WEP security there is code password note down it or enter new password then save setting s and restart router. then you can connect wireless with new password. Choose either WEP or WPA in the internet wireless security area of the router. Then you just set a password and hit apply and you're done!

You can confiure your without disk too .
Connect your router to computer with ethernet cable then you can access it with following default link.

or
http://192.168.1.1
If you are not able to access it with above ip then check your computers ip address gateway ip is your router ip try with it.
Then it ask for user name and password.
Type user as "admin" and password as "admin" or "password" or blank.
Then you can see configuration page of router.
Click on WAN settings and set those settings as your internet service provider settings.
Enable DHCP if you want to get ip from router.
Click on wireless settings enable wireless then enable WEP Security then add WEP code .It is your password to connect wi fi.Then save settings and restart router.
Then you can connect your wi fi network with that code.

Access the admin page via it's IP address (by default 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1) under wireless security/ security you should see there an option to set WEP or WPA and the likes... you just have to enable it and type in your preferred key and make sure to save the settings

to secure your internet connection, you need to put up a wireless security. to do that, you need to go to your router's configuration page by typing on your browser's address bar your gateway address.


when you do that, you should be able to see your router's config page. login using Admin as username and no password. click wireless:



select you wireless security mode:



lastly, specify your wireless password:



then save you settings. please note that WPA2 is just my preference.

to connect to your wireless network, specify on your wireless device your network name and password.

1. Connect the computer to your Wireless router then using the internet explorer access the router gui 192.168.1.1 2. It is extremely important that you change the password for your router. Select a strong password using numbers and letters. This is the password that you will use to login and configure your router after this initial setup. +
3. Select a unique name for your wireless network. The name of your network is known as the SSID. This is what wireless users will use to identify which router and network they connect to.

go to the wireless access point admin settings (not on your wireless adapter on your laptop). then check wireless security settings. if you see something there such as security key, that is the security key that you need to set up on your laptop. if security key is not visible, try to see if there is an option there which says unmask to show the security key, then copy it to your laptop. if all else fails, change the security key in the wireless access point and change all the wireless adapters that connect to it accordingly to the new security key you set it up.

Try to change the channel first on your router. Access the router's admin page through http://192.168.1.1 and look for wireless tab and change the channel to 11. Save the settings. On your laptop, verify if your wireless settings is matching the router's wireless settings like the SSID and the security or encryption used.
