SOURCE: im trying to connect a bsr xr eq to my avr687 denon receiver

If you want the EQ to affect the iPod music only, you can hook up the iPod output to the EQ input, then the EQ output to your receiver's AUX input (or DAT input, or whatever you're using to listen to iPod music.

If you want the option of using EQ for other signals as well, then you hook up the EQ to the TAPE inputs/outputs (TAPE OUT goes to EQ input, and EQ output goes to TAPE IN)

If you hook it up this way, then you have to select MONITOR or TAPE MON to get the equalized signal.

How to hook up a ADC equalizer to a Denon receiver.

Being that most AVRs designed today no longer provide a Pre-Out and Main Amp In that work in conjunction, there's no easy way to loop an external EQ through the receiver for playback with all sources. Also, given the fact that most receivers designed today either include some type of room correction software (Audyssey) or a Manual EQ for internal equalization, there is less of a need to integrate an external EQ with your receiver.

How i conecct my receiver to the dish hdtv

First find out if your Dish HD box has an optical or coaxial digital audio out.
Connect this digital out to to the Denon's optical or coaxial input. On the back of the receiver the digital inputs are labeled as DVD or CD/CBL . Remember to select the front input selector of the Receiver according to what ever input you have connected your HD box.
On all TV channels your 5.1 speakers may not work. You can make them work by choosing some of the DSP functions on the Denon remote. Just press the surround button and select Dolby Pro Logic II movies / music. This will convert 2 channel audio to 5.1.

HOW can i connect this ross model eq r15s to my avr687 denon rece

Treat each EQ (or any processor) as as Tape Deck and place it on its own Tape loop on the Denon. Tape deck(s) can attach to external processors because they always have tape loops to replace the one they use.

Rule of Thumb: OUT's go to IN's.

You can have as many processors as you want. I have five.

You can serialize processors if they would logically be used together or you could get a dbx-200 or dbx-400 Program Route Selector which provides connections and switching facilities for 3 processors and 3 tape decks but uses only one tape loop on the receiver.

Individual processors can be engaged or disabled, and the whole mess can be placed in the record OR the playback end of the chain - all via front panel switches. Very versatile.

How do i connect my ipod to my denon avr1906 amplifier.

you need a special cable 3.5mm male to RCA male. The 3.5mm end would go into the iPoD, and the RCA ends would go into the Denon input. You can purchase this cable at Pro Line Music 215-736-8055
