Dryer turns on and spins but no hot air,,,just cold what's wrong?

Your issue probably causes by vent duck was blocked either at the rear or from inside the duck. Take off the vent where it hooks up to the rear of the dryer. Turn on the dryer, if it works with hot air again then you have to clean your vent duct. Else, you need a service man to find down what is wrong with the thermostat, burner, etc...

Is this an electric or gas unit?

when a dryer does'ny blow hot air,it's normally either the element or the stats on the element.

it sound like the heating element. look to see if it is broken

If you can turn it on and have the door open, hold the door switch in and see if you have a glow from the heating element. If not, your element is broken. That is if it is an electric dryer. If it is a gas dryer you need to check the pilot light or the thermo sensor.

no but are you sure your replacement parts are correct the cycle stat is usally running about 140 - 160 temps did you switch the high one and the cycling wires or parts?

check the fuses.one runs and other heats it.might be a wire burnt off in the back or on the motor
