How to remove spray paint from iron?

I purchased a very cheap Coffee hand grinder. Someone had previously painted the wooden housing with a blue spray paint, and some of the paint got onto the iron grinding mechanism inside. I can unscrew the grinder from the box, and would like to know how I would get this off of the iron?

Normally chemical strippers are considered safe options to remove paint from Iron. Crown STRP could be a strong spray paint remove and you can see more paint removers from here https://chemicalwiki.com/best-paint-remover-top-5/.

To perform this paint removing activity, you will need a soft cloth, chemical stripper and wire tarp. You can follow complete procedure from here http://www.howtocleanstuff.net/how-to-remove-paint-from-wrought-iron/.

You can burn it off as well....WD 40 may leave a residue and effect the taste of the coffee if you intend to grind with it.If the part is removable, and is all irom you can burn off the paint. I would reccommend MEK and steel wool as well. MEK ( or Methyl Ethyl Ketone) is an agressive solvent available at hardware and paint stores. It leaves a slight residue but breaks up most paints well. Use a rough steel wool grade like single zero grade.

Try using WD-40 - no kidding! It works wonders for removing spray paint depending on the type and how long it's been on.

Remove and Install prime/spray valve Wagner paint crew airless paint sprayer?

Was the unit purchased new or used? The price of a new is about $125-170. This unit is for homeowner occasional use, not for large jobs. Was the unit working on the previous use? If so were the cleaning instructions followed and not shortcut. If paint is failed to be totally removed on cleanup it will dry inside unit. There are very few replacement parts for this unit. If the unit is not working take wrench and try to remove prime/spray valve. You will have to remove knob to access this part.

Shoots drips

Most airless spray guns spit a bit when you pull or release the trigger because the paint between the spray tip and the paint valve is under pressure but not enough to atomise the paint. If you increase the pressure you may reduce the spit to a point when you don't notice it. A blocked filter could slow the paint getting through to the tip cause lower pressure.

I have an old white refrigerator that works fine, just looks awful. What can I do to the face to make it look nice. I have wooden oak kitchen cabinets and a tile floor.

Paint it with white enamel.
Enamel Paint finishes in high gloss if you want that sort of finish.
Always paint in a dust free invironment with plenty of ventiallation.
With the expensive cost of many home appliances, sometimes replacing an old refrigerator is out of the question, especially if it still works well.
This can be a problem if you've recently painted your kitchen or if you're just sick of looking at an old, outdated fridge.
Instead of learning to live with your boring or unattractive refrigerator, you can give it a bright new look with a few coats of paint.
Mix a few tablespoons of vinegar into a bucket of warm soapy water.
Use this mixture to clean the refrigerator.
Scrub away any grease, dirt or other grime with your soapy water and a stiff bristled scrub brush. Wipe the refrigerator dry with a towel when it is clean.

Use painter's tape to cover parts of the refrigerator you do not want to paint such as the handle or the grate at the bottom of the refrigerator.

Apply a coat of appliance paint to your refrigerator with a paint roller to prime the surface.
You can also purchase appliance paint in a spray can and use it to spray paint your refrigerator.

Sand the paint with an extra fine grit sanding sponge when it is completely dry.
Try to make the surface as smooth as possible and then wipe away any dust created with a clean towel.

Paint the refrigerator with an enamel paint tinted to the desired color and a paint roller.
You can use oil-based or latex-based enamel depending on your preferences.
Oil paints usually have a stronger odor than latex paints but they may last longer.

Apply a second coat of paint when the first coat is completely dry.

Sand the final coat of paint when it is dry with a wet extra fine sanding sponge.
Spray the refrigerator with water while you work to keep it damp and keep sanding until the paint is smooth and shiny.

Remove all of the painter's tape from your painted refrigerator.

What kind of paint and brush should I use to paint my wooden bar stools?

You should first put a layer of primer using wood primerfrom a spray can. This will prevent thepaint from being absorbed into the wood. After 24 hours, you should use acrylic black (or whichever color youwant) paint in a spray can. The reason Irecommend spray paint is because it's easy and gives you tan even, blemish freecolor. Wait 24 hours (so that bubbleswon't form) and do another layer. If itdoesn't look thick enough to you, wait another 24 hours and do a final layer. There is no need for a clear finish.

I cannot move the screw to change the grind. How do I do this on a G9.

It should be easily move.I don't know how its stuck.
BUT a Good advice. If you in future disassemble the grinder. Then, make sure you either count the screw rotation of unscrewing or just put paint mark on screw where it was previous fixed.
Once you open grinder its very hard to put it back to work grinder like before.

It can be used, but be sure to use a water based, non-flammable paint or stain. Blow the dust out of the hose before attaching the spray gun.
